About Chiropractic
Report
Chiropractic is scientifically based on the knowledge that the nervous system controls every cell, tissue, organ and system in the body. The adult nervous system (brain and spinal cord) is housed and protected by the skull and the 24 moving vertebral bones of the spine. When these bones become "mis-aligned" and normal nerve and muscle function becomes impaired, it can result in muscle pain, soft tissue inflammation, joint dysfunction and/or organ malfunction.Chiropractors are trained to detect, reduce, and prevent nervous system interferences, muscle imbalances, and joint dysfunctions of the entire body.
How Chiropractic Can Help
Report
Research has proven that even low-speed collisions wreak havoc on the nervous system and the spine. Accidents can cause misalignments and microtrauma to the nerves, discs, joints, ligaments, and muscles of the neck and lower back. It is always beneficial to be examined by a chiropractor in order to prevent the likelihood of advanced spinal degeneration often accompanying these injuries.
