A Gathering Place Wellness Education Center - Massage Therapy School and Clinic offers massage therapy classes for state licensure. We are a premier Massage Therapy School and Clinic in metro St. Louis and we are approved to operate by the State of Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education. A Gathering Place Wellness Education Center is an Assigned School as designated by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).And in addition to our educational programs, we offer some of the Best Massage Therapy Services in St. Louis, MO and many types of healing modalities by licensed massage therapists and massage students who are learning to put their skills into practice.

Our students continually demonstrate excellence as they successfully pass their National Boards with a 98% cumulative Pass Ratio!. We educate the community, developing awareness of ways to facilitate healing and wholeness in body, mind and spirit.
Services

Both Student Massage Therapists and Professional Massage Therapists, licensed by the state of Missouri, provide this treatment. Professional Licensed Massage Therapists are available 5 days a week, by appointment. Our Professionally Licensed Massage Therapists provide Deep Tissue Massage techniques such as: Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Myofascial Release, with varying degrees of pressure to help the body let go of the tension patterns it is holding.Many of our staff are trained in advanced techniques through Medical Massage training to help certain chronic conditions which affect pain patients and cancer patients.
Hybrid Learning

Since 2013, A Gathering Place has piloted Hybrid Learning, where the lecture based classes are watched in an online format prior to coming to class. This affords a "deeper discussion" of the material which is part of the Massage Therapy Program. We believe this mode of learning has helped our students excel in their studies.

A Gathering Place Massage Therapy Center is the place to study massage therapy. Cindy, a Leader in Love and connection to Spirit changed my world and consciousness. This Facebook page says they are open. Google says they are open. After reading through their services, I make a couple attempts to call. No answer, no problem. I figure they are busy. I drive up there. There is a lady vacuuming. I asked if they were open, she replied "we are not open." I asked, "When will you be open again?" She said, "Not today." She never even turned off her vacuum until after I walked away. I cannot see that this will be a place that I will gather.

Cindy the owner is the best massage therapist I've ever been to. She has been keeping my body healthy for over 5 years. I put a lot of stress on it due to being a professional athlete and she knows exactly what techniques to use and exactly the cause of the issue when I have them. I won't go anywhere else. She is amazing at her passion and her soul matches that talent.

I went to school here and it was the best and most fulfilling experience. I not only recommend the massage therapists here but as a school I learned a lot of varied techniques as well as about business and personal growth. If your looking for a new career built on solid teaching styles or just an hour massage to relieve muscle pain this is the place to go!
