The staff are great, but not the owner. She mocked me, in front of me, when I asked for clarity on something the receptionist said. Service: Pedicures

Where are you even going if not to Allure studio for a day of pampering and relaxation? Each visit is as impressive as the last. Every staff member is friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat. It's like going to a friend's house but with the added bonus of spa treatments. Kim is the best massage therapist I've had the pleasure to visit. She takes care to work any problem areas and cater to individuals needs. Amberlee did such an amazing job on my acrylics.

I'm very sensitive to the primer used for acrylics and the sensitivity only increases the more drilling done. I had zero issues in our session and not a single knicked cuticle. She also did my pedicure and I always dread them with how ticklish I am but no dread during this one.

Owner, Peggy, is rude and demeaning. Poorly trained nail tech put the wrong chemical on my feet for calluses. Owner belittled me for wanting two damaged nails repaired, merely saying "short nails are in right now" and then convincing me to change my color choice to what she was wearing. It was humiliating and no discount was given. I wanted a nice pedi to treat myself and my sister from out of state.

It ended up being a two hour ordeal in which the original nail tech literally LEFT me and my sister's tech had to finish my pedi. Eyerusalem is the sweetest and saved the day and my feet. But I will never patronize this business again. Plus, the two houses thing is so stupid. Peace out, Allure.

Amazing staff that make you feel so comfortable (got trim, color, massage, and pedicure). Will continue my monthly massage and trim there. Even buying my mother-in-law a gift certificate for her next birthday.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, Value Cosette did a great job on my nails. The space was very clean and cute! Would go back for any service.

Debbie was amazing. I told her my needs and she completely met them. I was looking for a second massage therapist to offset my first one due to scheduling issues but Debbie may just become my first massage therapist! Can't wait to reschedule!

I have always had great experiences at Allure Studios. I have gotten massages, pedicures, and facials here on and off for years. I would recommend this place.

I can't in good conscience give one star because my massage, haircut and pedi were of average quality. However, paying $30 for a spa manicure that consisted of pushing back my cuticles without doing anything to soften them, clipping my cuticles and putting oil on my nail beds is completely outrageous. Seriously, that was it. I requested no polish.

I didn't even receive a regular mani, let alone the spa upgrade. I should know better than to patronize Allure spas. The last time, in Colorado was the same thing. Except on my pedicure. Never again!

Purchased a gift card for my wife to use over Christmas, she enjoyed the stone massage but not the pedicure and manicure. During the manicure the girl actually cut her fingers twice, my wife showed me the cuts when she got home. I hoped to give my wife a nice relaxing time at a spa; however, it turned out to be a disappointment. Will not be buying anymore gift cards from here.

I didn't even have to step in the salon to know that I will never go there. A very rude lady answered the phone I mention they had bad reviews and she said don't come here if we have such bad reviews and hung the phone up on me. I called back to speak to a manager or owner turns out that was her. Very rude she started yelling at me over the phone when I mentioned that some of the employees receive bad ratings.

I was going to give them my money despite the bad reviews however the owner on the phone decided instead of explaining herself and handling it in a professional manner she did just the opposite and Berated me for inquiring on the matter come to find out that was the owner I was speaking to. OK I can't believe that this place is in business after something like that. yelling at and hanging up on potential customers is unbelievable. This play should not be in business. I would not even bring my dog here to get groomed.

I would not recommend. They do not know current styles for hair or brows. I got my eyebrows waxed and they ruined them after I specifically said I wanted to keep them thick. She also took hair off the top. I had that perfect high defined arch that people draw on and she took that off and made my eyebrows thin and semi circle shaped. They clearly do not keep up on eyebrow trends and I am highly dissatisfied!

Seems like it would be great, but the location isn't great, the site for spa services is next door. Parking is horrendous. Building looks like a run down house. Hard to tell if it's open. You have to check into one building then go next door for your massage. My husband got me gift certificates on two separate occasions for massages and I hated it both times.

The first time I felt sore all over like if I had just done a rigorous full body workout after not working out for a while, the second time I opted for a deep tissue massage, since I have muscle spasm issues in my back muscles from a car accident 20 years ago, that time she used nothing but her elbow the whole time, only made single lines down my back and into my buttocks, ground her elbow around in my buttock muscle; I went home with MASSIVE bruising on my ass.

Not exactly what I was going for. Wanted other muscles massaged, mostly in my trapezius muscle, where she could have dug in harder because I've lost some nerve function there, but no, all elbow, and only on the butt. Definitely was the last straw. Called it quits. NOT worth the $$$

Love this salon! I get my hair done by Jen and she is great with blonde hair! The staff is very nice and welcoming! I usually get a color and cut. Jen is quick and makes sure you love your color!

Had my first visit at the Lexington location. Terrie did a great job doing my color and cut. She was fast and helpful as I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. The only odd thing was it's not all in one location and no decor to speak of. I like my hair so will definitely go back.

Yes they take credit cards BUT you will be asked to pay their "convenience fee" for doing so. Yes they do offer gift cards BUT do not have any "actual" gift cards so "could you just use your credit card receipt as the gift card?" Seriously. Yes the offer full spa services BUT it is two different houses (houses yes) so you'll have to walk between the two during your visit.

Yes I realize this is a small business but if you intend to market yourself as the "only game in town" then you'll need to amp up your overall image and move to a differenct location. I bought the gift card b/c the recipient lives in the area but I myself would never patronize this rinky-dink establishment.

Do not go to salon allure! They are the most overpriced salon I've ever been to. Besides the fact they do a horrible job, I payed close to 1000 dollars for my hair extensions where at first she told me it would be less than 600, and when I went to get them tightened she first told me 100 dollars which then went up to close to 300. she then told me what another customer said on her reviews, " if we refunded everyone who didn't like what we did we'd go broke". What!

What does that mean? That they basically screw up a lot. Go to Cleveland or columbus, even though it's a drive you'll save yourself a ton of money. I can travel to ny, buy the hair, get my hair done, and fly back for a cheaper price and a better job. Do yourself a favor and save your money. If I can give them no stars I would!
