Agape Therapy

Initially providing Physical Therapy, the practice grew to provide Occupational, Speech and Massage Therapies as well and became a Medicare Certified Rehabilitation Agency in 1990. The practice outgrew the small clinic on the corner of 6th and Washington St. and the present modern facility was built on the same site in 1998.

A physical therapist is a highly skilled rehabilitation specialist and licensed health care provider who can evaluate and treat musculo-skeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Physical therapists have extensive education and training in various types of hands on evaluation and treatment techniques. Most, and very close to all, licensed Physical Therapists currently graduate from accredited physical therapy programs with a Doctorate level degree. Clinical education includes background in human anatomy and physiology, pathology, kinesiology, and all types of exercise.

Massage Therapy is an enjoyable, therapeutic way to relax, as well as a useful tool for the maintenance of various ailments. It involves the manipulation of soft tissue by a skilled and licensed therapist. Our massage therapists are trained in Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Release, Spinal Reflex Analysis, Myoskeletal Alignment, Lymphedema Massage techniques, Sports Massage, Strain-Counterstrain, Cupping, F.A.T.

Our care model is a 3 phase model that transitions you through rehabilitation of an injury or pain through to a more empowered and independent quality of life. We desire to build a relationship with you, so we can get to know you and understand better how we can serve you or educate you on community resources that could do the same!
