The curriculum includes 80 supervised clinic hours where students provide services to the public under instructor guidance.
Student Clinic Services
The student clinic offers affordable massage therapy sessions performed by supervised students. Clients receive quality treatments while students gain practical experience in assessment, technique application, and client communication. The clinic operates January through June annually, providing students with 75-85 in-house massage opportunities to refine their skills before licensure.
Continuing Education Courses
We offer specialized courses for licensed practitioners seeking skill enhancement in areas like sports massage, lymphatic drainage, and craniosacral therapy. These programs focus on advanced techniques, pathology treatment, and specialized modalities while emphasizing proper body mechanics and client assessment. Continuing education helps professionals expand their expertise and stay current with industry developments.
Hydrotherapy Training
This 8-hour course teaches the therapeutic use of water applications for pain relief and muscle recovery. I've been going to massage therapy in other clinics for a while now for a problem that has been going on for at least 4 years. Although the massages felt good, I am finally now getting relief and help and also the understanding of what my problem has been with my hamstring from this school. Colleen a student there has been helping me and also giving me exercises and stretches to do on my own. She really has gone out of her way to help me and for once I'm felling better. So thank you so much Colleen and the school for all the help.
