Hair Frizz is a condition that causes hair to appear damaged or dry when a few strands of hair stick out or fly away like static from the rest of the hair. This can happen from humidity or from hair treatment that utilizes techniques that strips hair of its essential oils. Frizz can also be genetic: those with hair that is generally curly or have thin hair tend to experience this condition the most frequently.
Traditionally, a blowout is a method of straightening natural hair, usually performed with a blow dryer featuring a comb attachment. Alternately, you can use a blow dryer with a focused nozzle and a paddle brush or a round-bristled brush. During the 1960s-1970s, this technique was used on natural hair to make the hair appear longer.

I've always thought short hair never suited me but Chris definitely made it work! He took the time to look at all my reference pictures and talk to me about what would work for the length and look I was wanting - also quite possibly the fastest and highest quality cut I've ever received, I'll definitely be a repeat customer

Sue was very knowledgeable and professional! She was informative and patient while helping me decide which service was best suited for my hair type. I decided to do the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment to combat my curly, frizzy, unruly hair. My hair is medium/long in length and pretty fine. Sue reassured me that it would not affect my color-treated hair in any negative way.
I'm sad I didn't take before/after photos because this treatment is AMAZING! Blow drying/styling takes way less time and the result is smooth, straight and FRIZZ FREE! Even air dried hair is smoother and controlled, I cannot believe it! Totally hooked. The improvement (simply from a daily management perspective) is worth the money, absolutely! My hair definitely feels healthier as well. :-) For maintenance, you have to use the specific shampoo/conditioner and daily spray-in treatment.
I'm sensitive to odors and this product isn't unpleasant at all. The inital treatment smelled strong, but very do-able for the short period of time it takes to 'set'. It has been 7 weeks since my treatment and I couldn't be happier! I wish I would have discovered this much sooner. I was excited to see how my hair would behave in a humid climate because normally it's a nightmare. However, we had to cancel our trip to Costa Rica- so that part is 'to be determined'. Cheers to a wonderful salon, stylist, service and products! :-)

I've been going to this salon for about a couple of years now and can't imagine going anywhere else. Sue cuts, colors and styles my hair and does such a wonderful job at making me feel beautiful. If I have a question about the style, or a hair product, she gives me her honest opinion. It's a relaxing atmosphere at the salon and we can talk about whatever comes to mind.
Sue has been very fair about the pricing and keeps it consistent and doesn't raise the price so that I always know what to expect. This salon also offers nail services and from what I've observed, it's also a very relaxing atmosphere. There are other services they provide and it's easy to find out everything on your phone or computer, including pricing on their website.

Sue is a great hair dresser! My mom first introduced me to her when I was still in high school (probably back in 2013/2014) and now several years later and several miles away we continue to make the drive from Denver/flight from Florida to go to have Sue cut our hair. We've tried other hair dressers but only Sue is able to cut our thick and difficult hair.
My mom also now wears a hijab and Sue graciously accommodated an early appointment time where there would be complete privacy. Sue is great, prices are very reasonable, and the salon is always kept clean. We wouldn't keep coming back despite living far away if it wasn't worth it.
