Each therapist is unique, bringing with them the essence of who they are to their work. I am a ex-Army girl with a background in personal training and nutrition counseling. I love working with people, helping them achieve their goals and dreams. Massage is much more than a luxury - it is a necessary part of well being. While it has been around for centuries and many cultures make it a part of their everyday life we here in the United States are just starting to realize all of its wonderful benefits. I feel honored and privileged to work with a client, accepting them for who they are, where they are, and who they want to be.

Sue is an AMAZING therapist. Her techniques are fantastic and she is always able to work out any muscle issues I am having. I would go see her every week if I could afford it!! I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Hartford area! You have to log on to the website in order to pay with a credit card so I would definitely recommend bringing your smart phone or cash with you to the appointment.

Wanda is amazing! She i my go to massage therapist! She is adorable, caring and very skilled. She was initially recommended to me by my physical therapist and since then i have been many times. She incorporates Thai massage into a regular massage which i love! I have recommended her to a few people and they all have come back to tell me how much they LOVED it! She is also very reasonably priced and runs specials often. Trust me on this!!

Customer Testimonials

It has been three years and I haven't gone to see anyone else for my massage therapy. When I first came to see Wanda I was a stressed out first-year teacher in desperate need of relaxation. Each time I went in I would sleep sounder and feel lighter- Wanda gives you exactly what you want and need. Wanda is so thoughtful and intentional in her practice- it isn't just about relaxation- she genuinely knows how to work with your body to help alleviate ailments.Over the past few years I have gotten back into a heavy exercise regimen and am putting a lot of stress on my body. This last time I came in to see Wanda, I was certain that not even her artful therapy could soothe my aching muscles, but as usual, Wanda's expertise proved me wrong. It's been a few days since the massage and I've even been back to the gym and I am still feeling great!

The bottom line is this: There are many places you can go for a massage, but it is rare to find someone like Wanda. She takes her work seriously, deeply cares about the overall wellness of her clients, has extensive knowledge in wellness, and is one of the friendliest people I've ever known.

Give her a call! You won't regret it!

My girlfriend and I have worked with Wanda for the past three years and we couldn't be happier. Wanda really knows her stuff and caters to the individual needs of each and every one of her clients. The environment she creates only adds to the experience, lending itself to complete relaxation. I put my body through some grueling Crossfit workouts five days a week and Wanda and her staff is there for me on my rest/recovery days. Massage and stretching are part of a healthy lifestyle and I'm very, very grateful to have known Wanda and appreciate what she has added to my life.

I'm a Southern girl, born and raised in North Carolina. Though I joined the Army and traveled the world there is no mistaking my "Southern-ness". And yes you will hear me say y'all. I graduated Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy in Newington CT in 2002. After graduating I did a combination of personal training, massage therapy & wellness and nutrition consulting, but have been focused primarly on massage for the last 10years. My specialties include deep tissue, Thai massage, Sports, injury rehab, Swedish, as well acupressure and myofascial release.

Therapeutic Massage is the treatment and practice of soft tissue manipulation with physical, functional, and in some cases psychological purposes and goals. Therapeutic Massage involves acting on and manipulating the client's body with pressure (structured, unstructured, stationary, and/or moving), tension, motion, or vibration done manually or with mechanical aids. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, and/or organs of the gastrointestinal system.

Restorative massage is a blend of deep tissue, Thai, relaxation massage and somatic movement therapy. Somatic movement is guided movement that will encourage more body awareness and help release tight areas in your body. It empowers you with the knowledge of simple movements that will help re-educate the nervous system to promote greater ease of movement. My discovery of somatic movement came after many, many years of having nagging low back and pelvic pain ever since an emergency C-section 15 years ago (yes I said it, 15 years ago).

Got tired, achy feet? Time to treat yourself to a relaxing, rejuvenating foot massage. A foot massage session can help ease aches and pains and promote a feeling of overall relaxation.

A blend of massage, acupressure, energy work, and gentle yoga stretches. It is practiced on a firm mat on the floor with client fully clothed, except for the feet. With the use of compressions, pressure on specific points and stretches to release blockages, a free flow of energy is restored. Benefits from a session may include: releasing tight joints, stretching muscles, increasing range of motion, and reducing stress.

Are you in pain? Back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain? Are you in need of deep, restorative sleep? Are you recovering from an injury? The R.E.S.T. program breaks the pain cycle. This program will assist in the recovery of injuries, surgeries, etc., in restoring energy, and in improving sleep for optimal healing using a variety of therapeutic approaches. The R.E.S.T. program is designed to be implemented over a time span of four to six weeks. This program includes (1) Initial consultation, (3) massage sessions to address your unique recovery needs, and (3) personalized sessions (strategies & postures for greater flexibility, relaxation techniques and stretching) to assist you in restoring function and overall wellness.
