My friend and I had a girls weekend. This was out first stop. We got the Signature Spa for $260. It's 2 hours and includes hot coconut oil on scalp, feet, and hands. They also use an abrasive scrub on the fwst. Afterwards, they put hot towels and baggies on. Let me tell you it's wonderful! The full body massage incuded aromatherapy that you gwt to pick.

They also use hot rocks. I opted foe the Swedish massage as a opposed to the deep tissue. It was relaxing and ahe still got rhe knots out. Angela was great! You get free drinks. I got the mimosa before and after. You have a hot robe waiting at the table when you are done. I didn't not take a shower but my friend said the shower heads were very nice.

I would highly recommend this place. Afterwards we roamed around the hotel since it's located downstairs in the Pfisger Hotel. What a beautiful hotel the staircase reminds me like the on in thr Titanic.

Life changing facial! Ask for Lilly. She completely listened to all my wants and needs and was extra careful with my skin. She went the extra mile. Will plan on booking her again and again

Tacky experience: I scheduled a spa day for my girlfriend's 40th birthday, never been to the the Well Spa before but heard good things about it. One of the services I scheduled was an express mani/pedi. Unfortunately right before the getting service I was made aware that they did not have the equipment to remove gel from my nails so they couldn't do the service. Things happen and I was understanding but even though the service could not be completed due to an issue with the establishment, they insisted I was still being charged for the service because of their 24 hour cancellation policy.

I did not cancel the service they did not have the ability and were not equipped to carry out the service. I mentioned to the cashier that I didn't have the nail service because they couldn't remove the gel from my nails, the cashier politely removed it from my total which I was pleased with the thoughtful and good service. Fifteen minutes later, Well Spa called my phone, I'm thinking it's possibly a survey but they called to let me know they were going to charge my credit card for that service and the cashier didn't have the authority to remove it from my bill.

I have a lot of questions concerning their unacceptable business practices, but what I sum it up to be is bad business. This turned what was meant to be a celebration into an awful experience. Due to these substandard business practices, not only are they losing any future business from me, my friends and family but I'll be making sure to let people know about my experience verbally, through media and social media sources.

So here's the thing.the Well spa is great. Each time I've been the services have been great and they are usually able to accommodate schedules. This is great for me, as I prefer the instant gratification of being able to get the services I need when I need them, as opposed to scheduling weeks in advance. Additionally, the massage therapists I've had here have been wonderful as well. However, it is very expensive and they do not have a spa facility.

A deep tissue massage here ends up costing over $200, and they do not have saunas or hot tubs to enjoy. It is more of an in and out spa.which is fine, but for the price point there are other options just outside of Milwaukee that give you access to a full day of spa amenities for the same price. I will continue to come back because the service is great and I can enjoy a lunch at the Pfister afterwards. However, due to the cost it is really a special treat.

Got a deep tissue massage done and she used her elbows 90% of the time. It was not relaxing. When I get it done at the Knick they use primarily there hands. Also the fire alarm went off when I had the hot stones on my back so that got cut short. The only thing relaxing was the 15 minute shower with all the shower heads. Def gonna keep going to the Knick instead

Wonderful experience at the spa today! I got a sugar scrub treatment and it left my skin glowing and silky! Rinsing off in the shower there was heavenly with all the nozzles and settings, just true relaxation! Staff were very friendly, I had lovely conversations with the woman who did my treatment. I so wish I remembered her name to recommend her! What a wonderful start to my solo day in Milwaukee

My girlfriend and I were gifted facials and massages by our husbands for Christmas. Being the Pfister, I was really expecting a top notch experience. I have had my fair share of facials and massages in the past, so I certainly had something to compare it to. For the money that my husband spent on these services, I expected to be wowed! Unfortunately, I was the opposite.

It was subpar. I would say the services were what you would expect at a $75/60 min massage type salon/spa. Why spend this amount of money if you can get the equivalent for much less.

My whole bridal party got their hair and makeup done and I got my makeup done at the Well Spa and everyone looked fabulous. The whole team was so well organized and kept us on schedule for the rest of the day. My makeup stayed perfectly in place the entire day. The bridal party was all very happy with their hair and makeup to the point where some of my bridesmaids took down the girls' names for future use for other big events.

The luxury of the spa services and experience at the Well Spa + Salon at the Pfister are unmatched. It's worth every penny to feel completely relaxed and refreshed for this crazy world. Personally, I love getting a 60-minute massage and a body treatment (scrub or mud-wrap). You call to book to make sure scheduling of multiple treatments makes sense so you're not randomly waiting for an hour between services.

Parking is a breeze in the adjacent garage (4 hours free with services) - but my favorite part is that your services are provided in your own spa suite - a room with the massage table, and then a luxurious bathroom - do not get me started on the water pressure in the shower. Treat yourself for a special occasion or just because. You will not regret it. COVID-19 safety measures in place - all staff was masked + face shield. Handwashing/santizing happening regularly.

I rarely treat myself to a spa day but my husband surprised me for my birthday and it was definitely a treat! I've visited Well Spa + Salon before and have never been disappointed. After first checking in upstairs you're directed down to the most peaceful of waiting areas. Like most spas, the atmosphere is extremely welcoming and soothing.

Low lighting, sparkling music, pretty decor and stylish furniture keep you company as you await your masseuse. My experience with Rachel was absolutely delightful! Dare I say it was one of the best massages I have ever had. This was actually a prenatal massage, and it wasn't until Rachel started rubbing out the tension in my body that I realized how badly I needed it.

To be honest I was slightly wary about having a prenatal massage, just like I'm slightly wary about most things these days - pregnancy will do that to ya - but I was made very comfortable and felt relaxed the whole time. Instead of laying on your stomach like a traditional massage, this session has you laying on one side at a time while your leg rests over a large body pillow.

This is my new preference, so comfy! The rooms are quaint and dimly-lit. Attached private bathrooms are lovely and large, equip with an amazing walk-in shower and basic toiletry products you may need. You're free to unwind at your leisure after the massage session. Very enjoyable all around! I plan to get in another appointment or two before my delivery for sure.

What an amazing experience. Best massage I've ever had and the quality of service matches the 5-star environment. Ask for Hazel, you won't regret it.

Disorganized and lacking service! I scheduled a massage and nails for my wife weeks ahead of time for her birthday and was sure to discuss how to schedule so there wouldn't be a lot of downtime. They failed miserably! FOUR HOURS! and I'm still waiting for them to finish her nails. I expected much better from the spa attached to the Pfister. Take your money and time elsewhere!

I enjoy getting a massage here. The safety measures in place are good, face coverings and social distancing measures in place. Currently the snacks and drink service were in the waiting area are not offered. The private suite with the bathroom always makes me feel comfortable, you can shower before or after your massage. The extra touches like warm towels on your feet and the heated robe makes me feel so relaxed. I booked another visit for December. If you are seeking a relaxing experience book how.

I've been here three times, lastly for a deep tissue massage. The interior and design of the spa is modern, calming, beautifully decorated and you forget that you are in a lower level of a building. We were offered beverages while waiting for the service, and there were snacks and fruit available on a side table. After filling out some paperwork our massage therapists greeted us.

Both were pleasant and smiling, escorting us to the couple's massage room. After having both a relaxation massage and a deep tissue, I definitely prefer the relaxation massage. Deep tissue seemed to be more clinical, less relaxing. The therapist did check in with me, asking about pressure, but I wish we would have talked beforehand about the benefits of increased pressure, and outcomes of the massage after I told her it was my first deep tissue.

After the massage, we were told we had 15 minutes to shower, and use the facilities. This seemed rushed for two people, and we felt hurried to vacate. Also, there is always issues with the showers! They are difficult to use, too many knobs, and the therapists acknowledged that most people struggle with them. This has been consistent with both my massages and I would suggest Well Spa address that.

I did not see the value of paying extra for a deep tissue and would go back to a relaxation massage if I visit again. Well Spa is pricey and I plan to check out some other providers and see how they rank before returning.

Had high expectations and Well Spa blew them out of the water. Incredibly relaxing atmosphere with hugely talented masseuses. We had a couple's massage and the room was large, yet inviting, modern and cozy. Attached restroom meant we had privacy for a shower. The beds were able to switch positions which made for a unique experience. Sam used a perfect mix of muscle tension relief and relaxation.

This isn't something I typically care about, but if you're concerned about modesty, Sam was very delicate yet intentional with his blanket placement. It was my partner's birthday and Well gave us a little corner to have a mimosa and treat after our massage. Didn't have to do that, but it was a great touch. Highly recommend, will return.

Most importantly, my massage was great. She actually listened to me and my pressure preferences. I really enjoyed it. The room was warm and inviting and the shower was amazing. It was so amazing and so elaborate, I used more than half of my 15 minute steam shower time trying to adjust temperature, angles, settings, etc. You really need to have a longer window of time or the option to purchase extra time since there is not a communal area or locker room to dress, dry and/or put on make up.

The 15 minutes alotted is just not enough time. Since it's a steam shower, I was still very hot and sweaty with wet hair and no makeup trying to get dressed and hurry out. The waiting room is also very noisy, lots of gabby women and directly off the lobby. It did not make it very tranquil.

My husband and I went for the massage and pedicure services. The spa service was great. The only downfall is the 15 minute shower after. If you have a couples massage, you should allot for more time. Also, they forgot I had a prenatal massage and I was worried if the set up was proper because they just did it a few minutes beforehand. I would give them 4 stars.

The 3 stars ( which should really be 2 stars) really goes to the pedicure. My husband asked to cut his nails short, and they did not do that. I also requested for them to work on his feet for an hour since we were paying for a full service for him. On the phone they agreed but then they didnt do that either. My pedicure also was not straight. I was caught off guard because the choice I had was a 20% tip which wasnt deserved. I'm really disappointed and even emailed them but no call back yet. I expected more for the price we paid and will not be going again.

Can't go wrong here! It is a bit pricey, but with all the amenities and service you receive, it's well worth it. My massage was fabulous! I love that the massage tables were modern and switched positions automatically. They offer different sensory enhancing things to relax you, such as music/noise and aromas. You first start off with a beverage and there's small bites to eat as you wait in the lounge area. You're taken to your private room and you can't help but feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. Attached to your room is a private bathroom and shower. You're offered to either shower before or after your massage.

Let me tell you about this shower. OMG! I want to build one like this in my home. It's a huge walk in shower with a rain shower on top. There are sprayers and nozzles coming at you in every direction. You take advantage of the whole 15 minutes that you are given to be in there, and you don't want to leave. After you're done you are walked back into the lounge to unwind at your leisure. If you're looking for somewhere special and high quality, this is the Spa for you.

Long overdue for a massage and I couldn't have picked a better place to get it done. From the time I entered the Pfister Hotel and checked in to the spa, to the time I left, the service was great. After checking in upstairs, I was escorted to the spa lobby and treated to a glass of champagne. There is water and some other treats as well while you wait.

It was when I met my masseuse, Marilyn, and was taken to the massage room that I was totally blown away! The room was like a suite - dimly lit, quite tranquil - and with its own attached private changing room/bathroom, shower, sauna etc. complete with toiletries, hairdryer etc! You have an extra 10 minutes before/after your service to take a shower.

When filling out your paperwork you can specify some preferences - my massage table was nice and toasty warm when I got on and some nice relaxation music played in the background. I had a choice of scented massage oils to choose from. Marilyn did an excellent job with my deep tissue massage, just the right amount of pressure. After the massage, she gave me a robe that was toasty warm (from a heated drawer) and I had another 10 minutes to relax and get dressed. Back in the spa lobby with one more glass of champagne and I felt so revived. Tomorrow I go back for a facial which I had to reschedule. Can't wait!

Had a 90 minute massage at Well Spa with Alicia and it was amazing, her energy was great. She was able to tune in on sore areas of my body, she made suggestions on what else to do to help alleviate tension areas. The oils and aroma therapy was all good. She used hot towels to help my muscles relax. Took a shower after in their super nice multi nozzle shower and it was so great and relaxing. She brought me a nice water after and it was so nice. The Spa is located inside the Pfister Hotel and they validate parking, nice place for selfies.

I had the most amazing experience here. My husband and I did a couples massage, I did the Swedish and he did deep tissue. We were offered a beverage upon arrival and relaxed in their waiting area while we filled our paperwork. We were then greeted by our therapists - I had Sam and my husband had a woman (I don't remember her name). We got to shower in our private shower beforehand, and choose the oils we wanted infused in the room during the massage.

When it came to the actual massage - it was amazing. Sam did an absolutely outstanding job - I will for sure be back because of him. My husband massage was mediocre unfortunately so he didn't have the same relaxing experience but mine was amazing. After we were done we were given a glass of water right away as well as a complimentary cupcake and mimosas. The whole experience for me was so wonderful. I'll be back!

I come here on occasion when I really want to spoil myself. It is in the Pfister Hotel - which is already an great setting. I was greeted every time I've gone & the front receptionists are very nice. I've gotten massages (both 60 & 90 minute), a scrub and the Remineralizing-Hydrotherapy Bath. The massage therapists are all very good & professional.

When I've gotten the deep tissue massage and they really do a fantastic job because they got all the kinks out. The Remineralizing-Hydrotherapy Bath is always a great add to the services because the nice to just soak & relax.in quiet. The rooms too are great - because you get your own shower! The showers are amazing and it's definitely worth going for that too. Don't worry, I will be back!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Pfister Well Spa located inside the Pfister Hotel! Living downtown has so many pros but trying to find a place to do nails/hair can sometimes be a challenge. That all changed when I started going to the Pfister. First the parking is awesome! Sometimes I uber or walk to the spa but on the days I drive, the parking garage attached to the hotel makes it super easy to have an appointment here.

The spa will validate your parking so no worrying about meters and paying for parking. Second- Check in is so easy and the attendants are very professional, nice and quick. After asking if you would like champagne or a mimosa they take you downstairs to the spa. The waiting room is an oasis. When you walk in the dim lighting, comfortable couches, snacks, all help you relax.

It is a beautiful room and cell phone free (which I love). I recommend checking in a half hour early so you can just go and relax a few before your service. All of the staff is very helpful and come in often to see if they can get you anything and replenish drinks. I have had hair, nails, waxing, and facials here. While the pricing is a little more expensive than other places, they have a great loyalty point program that makes choosing this spa a good deal.and you cannot beat the service/atmosphere.

The Pfister spa staff are all friendly and on time which I appreciate. If you are looking for an easy relaxing place to get away from it all in the city. I recommend the Well Spa

Absolutely fantastic in every sense of the word. Taking time for self-care is difficult for many, myself included. My fiance, recognizing this fact, set me up with two gift cards for massage at Well Spa in exchange for me being his Valentine this year. Win! I cashed in the first - a 60 min deep tissue massage - last week Wednesday, which ended up being cold, dreary and rainy. (Perfect mid-week treat yo'self in the dead of March, eh?) Well Spa is one flight down the stairs, just off the main lobby/bar area.

This well-appointed spa is basically a private oasis in the middle of downtown Milwaukee in the best way imaginable: water/tea/champagne upon arrival (I opted for water, boring, I know, but not because I got to choose from lemon, lime or orange), private service suites with great in-room showers and bathroom facilities, relaxing music and a lovely ambiance. How-to: *sign in at the Well Spa front desk (in the retail area main level) *head downstairs to fill out a medical form/services questionnaire *proceed to enjoy serious relaxation and expert massage, salon and esthetician services 60 min/deep tissue = life altering and way overdue in my case (roller derby injuries, years of gymnastics and stress stay can really stay with you)!

I can't say enough good things about Mia's work with my stressed muscles, she's like a magician. Roxie (my esthetician) was thoughtful, pleasant and educational without being overbearing and very professional. Yes, I added an hour-long "pure radiance" facial ($90) just because. Spring and skin and it's nice to be nice to yourself, sometimes.

I can't wait to cash in my second massage gift card and get into a nice little habit of self-care through relaxation on a more regular basis. Well Spa is downright and I'm beyond stoked to return!
