Our talented Massage Therapy staff consistently provides excellent, corrective treatments. Whether it's teen acne, adult acne, sensitive or mature skin, we can achieve a smoother, more hydrated condition. Radiant, balanced skin can be achieved without clogging the pores or causing excessive irritation.
Microdermabrasion is considered a peel alternative. It entails treating the face with sterile micro-particles to rub off the very top skin layer, then vacuuming out the particles and the dead skin. Through a wand-like hand piece, tiny crystals are delivered at high velocity onto the skin's surface and immediately vacuumed away with the same instrument, taking the top-most layer of dead skin cells with it. The technique exfoliates and gently resurfaces the skin, promoting the formation of new, smoother skin.
These peels use mild chemical solutions like glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid to lightly peel the skin with almost no recovery involved. They are typically done in a series to maintain results over time. Your face may seem slightly pink followed by temporary flaking, dryness, and scaling until your skin adjusts to the treatments.

When I moved to Montrose a few years ago, I went to Uptown Face & Body every month for a massage. My masseuse Nicole was amazing! She set the bar so high on what a masseuse can be. She was always easy to talk to, very professional, and dedicated to learning different massage techniques to incorporate into a full body massage. Sometimes during a massage, my left foot cramps up.
One time it cramped with Nicole - and within seconds she had pressure point destroyed that cramp within seconds! She was so amazing. Now that I've moved to the PNW, I'm so sad I can't find a masseuse as good as Nicole!

SUPERFANTASTIC! This was my first time going to the Sassy Ladies Beauty Bar and I absolutely loved it! Caitlin did an amazing job on my Brazilian, Eye brows, and lip! Without Uptown I would not have the confidence to literally "show face." At 52 yrs old I was unhappy with the condition of my skin & eyes. Today I enjoyed a soothing message by Frieda and a rejuvenating facial by Maria. My sweet husband treated me to this luxurious spa afternoon for Valentine's Day. My tight upper back and neck are so much better and the hot rocks added to this pampering experience. I received a groupon as a gift. I phoned yesterday for an appointment and when I received a call back they were kind and helpful. And Best of all, they were able to get me in that afternoon. I live in the area, walk by often, but never had stepped foot in this business. I had a fantastic experience! Upon arrival, Malaea asked questions, listened and made a plan.
The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Malaea was educated in massage and her skill level far exceeded my expectations. She was great and I can not wait to see her again. I will be back! Soon!

I had my baby's ears pierced here. Maria was very gentle and she explained everything first so I know what to expect. A numbing cream was applied to my baby's ears before piercing them. My baby did not feel anything! No tears at all! She was busy chewing her toy and did not even notice what Maria was doing with her ears. I am very happy! Maria was also very friendly and accommodating.
