The Pearl Spa

I had such an excellent experience as a first time guest at The Pearl Spa. Every person I interacted with was so warm and provided wonderful customer service. I had a 60 minute facial with Marina and she was such a gem to work with. I valued her honesty when providing her assessment and that she recommended products for me to consider without any pressure.

I ended up taking her recommendation for a hydration mask and my skin has been glowing. I will certainly be seeing her again in 6-8 weeks and I'm seriously contemplating a full membership due to my initial experience.

I love The Pearl for spa services but this time I did something differently. I attended a Lotus Wei event here. It was a Ripple the Void Flowerlounge Tour. The experience started before entering the spa. Beautiful flower petals and designs lead you to the meditation room. I enjoyed flower essence-infused food and drink. We blasted the city with love with 3 minutes of silence & group meditation.

Then the Lotus Wei team presented a flower essence session. The team lead the group through an auspicious sound, smoke, & flower offering. During this time the team is misting the room with flower essence. I especially enjoyed the White Flower Visualization. The event wrapped up with Tibetan chanting. I would definitely do this again.

I used to come here when it was the other place. I haven't been back since covid and it's really wonderful. Love the new company running the facility. They've improved a lot of things like the locks on the lockers.

I wanted to love it. I really did. I was a member of the Pearl Spa in the earlier years before they move to the lakeside in Columbia. I stopped going because it was inconvenient, but also because a had a couple of bad experiences with particular service people. I was looking for a place to use a steam room and found that the Pearl had moved and had a new Healing Waters experience.

I was excited. It had everything I was looking for at a reasonable price. But ultimately, the healing waters was far too noisy. I know it's a pool. Voices travel. But I was looking for healing of the mind in addition to the body. I can't get that while the lifeguards are discussing real estate far too loudly. So even when I escape to the steam room I had other clients trying to discuss the second (and third) coming of Christ.

I just want to listen to the water. I left as quickly as I could because I was already frustrated. But walking out to the checkout desk, there on an end table in easy sight for anyone is the liability sheet I signed on my way in with my personal information on it. The front desk swore that someone had only just put it there. That was the nail in the coffin of my visit. I really wanted a place to relax. I really did.

Love this place. Awesome customer service. Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

Overall good experience. It right under Wholefoods so honestly I didn't think it would be as nice as it was inside, but I was pleasantly surprised. Once at the front desk the attendant had trouble signing me up for a membership but I was able to get the massage I booked. I had a nice massage therapist who did a great job. The only down side is she incorrectly quoted the prices of add on's. If it was by $10 I wouldn't complain, but she misquoted by $30+. the Aqua therapy was great. This is the feature that I'll most definitely return for.

Amazing place, but very expensive. It's disappointing that at the new location they do not have a private waiting space prior to receiving your massage or other service. I don't want to wait in a large, open-walled space in my robe. They do offer the quiet room for after the service. You won't be disappointed using this pls e for massages, facials, etc.

I had a 1 hour massage with Daniel and I highly recommend him! He gave me the best massage I've ever had. I also used the healing waters for an hour, it was great! Worth the money. Treat yourself to something nice.

I can't say enough good things about the staff, atmosphere, service, and amenities. Great selection of fitness and meditation classes as well as spa services (highly recommend Patrice for a massage!). The staff are super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Heather, their wellness director, even remembers everyone's names and makes an effort to chat with each person she sees.

Thee BEST day spa, exactly the relaxing escape you're looking for. My friend got a pedi while I got a massage, top notch experience and definitely recommend!

Definitely not like the old location. You feel like your in a warehouse environment, relaxation rooms are not as cozy as the previous location. Sitting in robes on couches in the middle of the lobby. Not a spa feeling at all. Services were fine but I'm not running back. The old location was such a luxurious pampered feeling your definitely not going to get the same vibe in this new warehouse environment trying to be passed off as a spa experience. I'm sad that my favorite spa experience is not so nice anymore

I seriously just needed a break and decided to get a massage. I remembered visiting The Pearl Spa a few years ago at the Maple Lawn location and was excited to learn they moved to Columbia! It is adjacent to the Whole Foods, near the lake, across from the mall for reference. Not that Maple Lawn was bad or anything but I just remembered the parking and dressing room were weird to me. Anyhoo I booked a 90 min massage with hot stones because I already knew these knots were gonna need some extra love.

The check in was easy. The robes were plush. All the cucumber water and herbal tea my heart desired. The staff had on masks which I really appreciated. #teammask! This new location has more space and I believe now offers movement classes as well. I wish I lived closer! I noticed there was a sauna in the dressing room which I would have liked to go into but I didn't know! Next time I will bring extra clothes allot more time to enjoy. Overall it was very nice and I appreciated my brownie to go!

I give it 4plus stars, I've been a member for years when they were at the Maple Lawn location. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The new location in Columbia is Covid compliant and offers many amenities. There is so many self healing, nurturing services it's definitely worth a try. Highly recommend, great gift for that special someone.

I have yet to take a class or get a massage however, I am giving The Pearl Spa five stars for customer service. Paul was a delight to chat with while my daughter was getting her 30-minute massage. He gave me a tour of the spa, explained their membership program, and allowed me to relax while I waited with their heated neck wrap. As soon as I walked into the spa it smelled calming and the decor was inviting and well designed. I look forward to taking a class and getting my massage very soon. BTW- my daughter loved her experience and Mina was amazing.

Ask for Jasmine. Best massage ever. I made an appointment immediately after.

I went for a pedicure today, it was their cheapest pedicure for $70. It was OK, nothing spectacular. The nail area is not particularly relaxing, the chairs are not very comfortable and no products are used that make me feel like I am at anything more than a regular nail salon. Nothing about this experience would make me want to return or recommend this place for nail services. I would rate this place 2.5 stars but it does not let me do that.

It is such a healing place with wonderful teachers, classes, and community.

The moment you walk into the pearl, you feel welcomed by kind people, relaxed, and peaceful. From massages to facials to movement classes, the pearl is THE place for wellness and self-care.

I thoroughly enjoy this spa. They pamper you like the Queen or King that you are. No robe and Locker Room Service anymore due to COVID-19, but they still give you a brownie and tea at the end, to-go. The products in their store are nice as well.

Nothing but wonderful things to say! I have been taking exercise classes here for over a month now and I have loved every class and every teacher. The atmosphere is very welcoming and every day we see the transformation from the old Haven to the new Pearl. I was not a Haven member, but I will definitely be joining this new venture!

Michelle gave a very soothing massage and the staff were sweet. Fun shop too. Good find!

I had two of the best experiences last week. First a gel manicure with Marjorie on Wednesday and Pamela on Saturday for a "Bare Necessity" Spa Service. Both women were professional, sweet and EXCEPTIONAL! I. also was given great service from India at the Front Desk. I highly recommend THE pearl and look forward to experiencing the new location in Columbia.

So I don't know who this employee is at the Pearl, but what she pulled last Friday (04/30/21), was beyond disrespectful and she had no business concerning herself. Me and another woman had a minor accident at. the intersection right in front of The Pearl, and one of their employees, an older, brunette haired woman with glasses, immediately came out of the store when the other woman parked her car so we could exchange information.

At first I thought she just came out to watch and smoke her cigarette, but boy was I wrong. This Pearl Employee completely inserted herself into me and this woman's insurance and personal information exchange! This Employee told me that I needed my mother's car.

I have gone to The pearl before for massages but my patronage at this establishment will be no more. This past Friday 4/30/21, my sister had an minor fender bender accident (she and the other driver are safe and ok, just shaken up) - a Pearl employee came out, inserted herself in the conversation with my sister and the other driver (who were in the. process of exchanging information), this employee only asked the other driver who was Caucasian if she was ok didn't even my sister if she was ok, and then harassed my sister about providing the other driver our vehicle's registration. Our father works for the MVA and we know that it is not necessary to provide your registration to the other.

Now where do I start from? From class to sophistication. This is the Spa of Spas. I was going through a difficult time some and a friend of mine booked this spa for me. Since then I have not looked back. It's located in beautiful upscale neighborhood in Fulton, MD. As soon as you walk into the spa you will feel automatically refreshed just by walking in literally.

The front desk person asks for your name and takes your information. Then they send you to the back to Change into your robe. After changing they ask you to wait in the waiting room and this is where the fun begins. Champagne or Tea they ask. I don't drink so I asked for water with Lemon. I have had a facial, massage and something else done I don't remember the name but this place is fantastic!

Just give it a try. Now it is pricey. I must say but overall a place you MUST visit. Remember to take a friend with you or if you would like a quiet time go for it. I highly recommend.

Great service. great masseuses. I love that they offer mimosas, tea, infused water and snacks. Very therapeutic from the time you walk in to the time you walk out. Near the front desk, there's a mini boutique style shopping area. There's so many good brands and things to buy!

Wow wow wow! The Pearl spa is officially my go to place for some self care. Both times I've gone for a custom 60 minute massage and once for a facial have been phenomenal experiences. Their staff are very sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. They clearly love what they do and their attentiveness to providing a good service is uncanny. When it comes to COVID adjustments, this is what I noted: -You can sign up for a service online (super easy!) -When you arrive, you text them to check in and wait for their response text to let you know they're ready for you -You have to enter through a special side entrance -They take your temperature and give you both a survey and form to sign upon entry -All staff wear masks and social distance -You are required to wear a mask at all times unless facing down during a massage I felt very comfortable and safe during my massage experience due to their COVID adjustments. Thank you, Pearl Spa! I'll be back!

The Pearl Spa was a great experience. This is a real spa where you can see that they believe in our care. Things to Note: *The spa is in a shopping center so you want to get there a little earlier to ensure your parking. Pros: *The ambiance is magnificent. It's like they brought me behind the velvet curtain. *In the ladies room, you are given a warm robe, slippers, and a locker.

Everything was clean and I could tell that the aroma therapy had already begun. *The Lounge. After you're dressed in your spa attire, you go the lounge where there is low music, dim lights, hot towels, mimosas, fruit, cookies, etc. It's so calming that you forget that you are waiting for a service. *I paid for The Duo. This is a one hour massage by two people.four hands total. Rebecca and Kristin were very polite and did a great precheck. Cons: *The Pearl Spa is very expensive.

I would only treat my mom, myself and maybe the person I'm in love with.maybe. *The lockers were jinky. Several of us returned to the ladies room to receive our things and most of us had trouble getting into them. Eventually someone came with a master key to let us in. *After a total of over $400, I must say that I enjoyed the lounge the most.

The massage was average. Having two masseuses is not what its cracked up to be. Their skills were so different it was a distraction. One was detailed, great pressure, and had a smooth flow. The other.it felt like it was her first day on the job. It was a bumpy ride. While one was at the top the other was at the bottom and it just felt like confusion. They weren't in sync. Overall, I believe the intent of the Pearl Spa was felt. I would definitely come again for my birthday to compare experiences.

Let me first say, that this establishment is on fire. Out of all the spas I went to, this one tops as the greatest. I had an anniversary gift card my wife gave me and finally used it. I couldn't get an appointment right away, but it was well worth it. I started off in the wrong building, after calling them, they directed me to the right building.

I was amazed at how attentive they were toward me. They gave me a tour of several options to choose from. Then they escorted me to the men's lounge. They had a walk-in shower. Lockers and a section you can sit down and chill. I had a beer and a brownie. They had other options on beverages, that's just what I chose. I sat in a fancy robe drinking a beer watching television until it was my turn. Let me tell you that Becca was great. With the hot stones and that 90-minute massage. I was in love, I can't wait to go back again.

Never got a chance to visit, this solely based on the phone customer experience portion. I called on a afternoon around 1pm to see if there were any same day appointments. Prior to speaking with someone I was on hold for 10 minutes (there phone service does explain there is a wait.) after I booked my service. I ran into an emergency and needed to cancel it.

I called twice around 3 PM both times I again waited over 10 minutes. Due to me living a life I could not continue to hold so I left a voicemail. No one called back until it was at the time of my appointment which I missed the call. They left a voicemail not acknowledging my voicemail but to let me know they are charging my card for a no show. I did get my money back but the communication on their end is poor.

If you aren't going to be able to answer every call while open then you should check voicemails more frequently. Also please note that same day appointments follow under their 24 hr rule. The picture is how long I waited to talk to someone

Phenomenal spa experience! I love the melanated staff, the serene blue color that washes the facility. Called and was able to do a same day appointment for the Blue Grotto and a custom massage. The blue grotto i loved because you get the whole area to yourself (or whoever you're with). apply four different types of mud, all with their own special properties), steam room, and rainfall shower. ALL YOURS!

My massage was lovely- i think masseuse was Helen? Anyway, i kinda walked out from my massage and straight to the front, not knowing i was supposed to wait on her to come back. Was checking out at the front desk and the lady there was like "wait- u didnt get your brownie and wine?" and literally walked me right back in to enjoy it in the relaxation room. I REALLY appreciated that. Champagne and a DELICIOUS brownie was the most perfect end to an already awesome experience.

Greeted when you come in with a smile! Very clean. There's a private relaxation room. It smells so good! They have a person that circles around to check on you while you wait for your therapist. The rooms are supper nice and clean. Very relaxing. I mean you feel like a supper star. I did a 75min massage. 20min in It felt like 3hr.she was amazing.

Best Massage Ever! Lauren was incredibly professional and placed the rt amount of pressure where needed. Pamela tinted my eyebrows and I feel and look like a different person.

I love the idea of this place. It's modern, clean and posh. That said, without the staff and services to back it up then you are toast. I've had MANY services here and I think I'm done. My most recent was a leg wax last week. I left covered in bruises and my legs were still hairy. The tech was terrible. She was unskilled and unprofessional. She was purposely trying to hurt me, I'm 100% convinced of it. Very unfortunate because this place had great potential in theory.

The spa is my happy place, my self-care sanctuary. It simply nourishes my soul. My voyage to THE pearl modern spa & boutique was beyond the amazing. Started off with the Blue Grotto, which is like heaven on earth. I painted myself from head to toe in different clays to solve all my skin ailments. Next, I sat in the steam room for about 20 min, then rinsed in an amazing shower.

Upon leaving the grotto I was greeted with a cool compress. Afterwards, I wound down with an exceptional custom massage with Deshoy that included aromatherapy. After the service I received a warm compress and was offer a treat. I savored a glass of champagne and a warm brownie, but other options included trail mix, a mimosa, wine, water, and tea. I will most definitely return to THE Pearl. I could be pampered like this every single day.

This Spa used to be the "pearl" of spas years ago! My EX wife and I started frequenting it when it first opened! The Blue Grotto was their signature massage session. At that time we thought we had found a slice of heaven on earth. The prices were up there but the services and atmosphere were well worth it - UNTIL One day I called to schedule a surprise visit of which I was told they had a last minute cancellation that day!

Unfortunately we could not go so I called to decline the confirmation. I was told that since I did not give 48 hrs cancellation they would charge my card 370.00 for the services. WHAT THEE Hell. How is that even possible if you fit me in a same day walk in appointment for a cancelled appointment? I asked. Response: We have your card on file so well will charge it and if it doesn't go through you will be banned from services until the debt is paid. I guess my name is on the Pearls Most Wanted list now. Three words: Screw You Pearl
