This is a five star review for people who are used to going to foot spas. As foot spas go and as Hollywood goes - it's affordable, a great massage, there is usually availability. A plus for me is walking from my apartment and some masseuses who have good body intuition.

The one star isn't about the massage. My therapist was absolutely wonderful. I've been coming here for years without incident. Well that is until the last two times I've been in. Before the pandemic there used to be a different guy that worked the front desk, and the end transaction always went very smoothly and very friendly. Unfortunately the original front desk guy no longer seems to be there.

When I go in I always pay in cash as I like to give my therapist a cash tip directly to them. The last two times I've been in the newer front desk guy, an older gentleman seems to get very confused counting cash back as they don't use a register. And he has short changed me the last two visits.the first time I noticed immediately and very kindly pointed out the mistake (which can happen to anyone) he got very frustrated and a little abrasive with me.

I let it go because I loved this place. Today I paid in cash as usual. The amount owed was 55 dollars. I handed him two 50 dollar bills. Today my massage was so good I was very out of it and didn't notice the mistake in the moment. He handed me my change and said 25 dollars I handed my therapist 20. and was left with 5. the second I walked out the door I immediately realized that I was owed 20 more dollars. so walked right back in and very friendly told him what had happened.he immediately went into a very rage filled rant about how I was on camera and accused me of lying and trying to get more money out of him.

And told me he gave me 45 which he did not. I said well if I'm on camera I have nothing to be lying about. He continued screaming at me that he had given me 45 back. I showed him my pockets inside of my wallet that I had no cash I was hiding. He begrudgingly gave me the 20 dollars that was mine. All while accusing me of lying. So I just handed the 20 dollars back because it's not worth it.

So beware if you are paying cash. I don't think he's doing it on purpose. I just think he's not good at counting money back. However to be treated like a criminal. to be screamed at and told I was on camera was way beyond not ok. I feel so very sad and it was disheartening to be spoken to like that. Apologies to the people in there getting their massages trying to relax that had to overhear all of that.

I would highly recommend this spa. We had massage, foot massage and reflexology. Wonderful! Chris was excellent. The prices were very fair. Well worth the $. Will definitely go again.

2 Bad Experiences: I have loved this since 2019 for their firm massages and have visited many times. but lately something is different. My 1st bad experience was a very weak and lazy massage. I requested more pressure and was brushed off as my masseuse daydreamed. I mentioned it to the manager later that the massage wasn't the best, but I still would be back.

Then in about 2 months I returned. A new masseuse was assigned for me. This masseuse had firm hands and the massage was great. for about 5 mins. Then there was so much rough pressure that I left feeling a huge knot in my neck that wasn't there when I arrived. I even mentioned to the masseuse 3 times that it was too much pressure but he continued to dig his elbow in the same spot for 15 minutes.

When I mentioned this to the manager HE MADE ME CONFRONT THE Masseuse. acwkkkkwarrrrd. I mentioned all I wanted was another massage to take care of the pain that I NOW HAVE in my neck from the rough massage. The masseuse then spoke aggressively to me in a foreign language! The manager wouldn't refund me fully or offer another solution. Needless to say, I left stress and in pain rather than relaxed. Unfortunately they just lost a long time customer.

Don't let appearances deceive you. The corner of La Brea & Sunset isn't the poshest neighborhood, but this spacious establishment located on the 2nd floor of a fading strip center is actually a good spot. You have the options of taking the stairs or a sketchy elevator only a serial killer could love. I paid $50 + Tip for a 60-minute Foot Reflexology in the open area main room.

This is about $20 more than I pay for a similar experience back home in Houston, TX. After a relaxing, warm foot bath I settled in for a thorough foot and leg massage -- with the perfect pressure. I've never had so much focused attention on my toes! Apparently my calf muscles were really tight too. If you're a tourist weary from sightseeing or a local looking for a good spot to relax - check them out! Bonus: there's a Starbuck's and a really good little spot Thai restaurant called WeHo located across the street.

Used to love this place but whoever has been running it post-pandemic is so incredibly unorganized. Been having worse and worse service each time and this past time I called 40-mins before to ask if they had an opening for one person, they said yes. I get there and lay down for ten minutes before someone comes up to me and said they'd be with me in about 40 mins! This was after they started helping someone who came in after me! Time to start looking for a better spot with good customer service.

Oy. I left feeling worse than when I got there. $55 for a convo massage (foot and back) of pain and discomfort. The massage bed is gross. They also had me lean in on a makeshift stack of dirty pillows (clean towel was placed over stack of pillows) while they applied pressure in the wrong places. During most of the massage, many of the employees kept speaking loudly.

Not a quiet and relaxing experience. I mean, no regard for anyone getting a massage. Not even a whisper. I've been to other foot massage places, so I gave this place a chance. Never again.

Nice, clean, quiet massage place. Price is fair and the massage was decent. I wish they did a little more of the pressure points stuff but my legs did feel great afterwards so will be coming back!

This place is pretty decent but I'm rating it 3 stars due to the difficulty in communicating with all staff and they are not organized with set appointments. They couldn't accommodate our group and they turned away a couple appointments they had previously scheduled. That really sucks for those people that were looking forward to their massage.

I've enjoyed coming here for back massages for years! I ask for super strong massages and they definitely deliver. Whenever I'm suffering from a back ache, or muscle spasm, this is the first place that I think of going to. The prices are VERY reasonable and the staff give excellent massages!

So happy they reopened! This is my go to place for foot massages. I've been dying for a great massage during COVID and now I can finally resume my healthy addiction. Besides the foot massage, their masseuses are great at working out the knots throughout my body. I really appreciate the cleanliness and precautions they take to keep everyone safe. Go support this local business!

I Literally just walked out. When I first walked in an older man looked at me and stared at me as I stood at the counter for about three minutes. Finally I asked if is anyone in charge of which There was no. response.he just got up and stared at me then I pointed to the menu to choose a service and he just stared at me along with two other men that were apparently waiting for some thing. There was no one that could communicate with me so I finally just left. If you're going to open the doors why do you not have someone in charge. Disappointing

I scheduled an appointment for 3pm and after arriving I was made to wait 20 minutes. After I was finally able to speak to the massage therapist/ manager he told me he's ready and went back inside the massage area without asking me to follow. He returned several minutes later and I obv brought it up that I didn't appreciate waiting 20 minutes he literally turned around and walked away. So sad because I used to come here before COVID and really liked it but not sure what happened.

I've been waiting for this spa to open back up because I've been here a few times before and they give some of the best and relaxing massages! Since COVID, I've been sitting around a lot at home and my body has been very tense since I haven't been as active either, so I needed some relief and I'm glad that LA County finally allowed this spot to open up.

They are very good with their safety protocols as all the workers wear face shields and sanitize before, during, and after everything as well, so it's a safe environment as best as they can make it. We need to continue to support small businesses like this spa so they can survive and continue to provide great massages and service!

Great chair massage, knowledgeable on how to get my knots out from sleeping wrong. Professional, clean, courtesy, and friendly! I will definitely be back again, and will recommend this place to friends. Thank you so much for your beautiful talented hands that made my back and life feel restored!

I like this place but the only one downfall is that they're all men so sometimes I have to convince my boyfriends that it's OK to let "him" do your massages Lol. outside of that the massages are wonderful and great for the price!

I needed a quick fix to relieve the holiday work stress and this place did the job. Not a spa experience but if you need to loosen some knots for $45 for 45min is great. You are fully clothed and there are chairs as well as flatbeds to put your face in. I will be back!

I have been coming here for a few years because when you stand on your feet for a long time you need relief! It had been two years since my last visit and I was disappointed to see the prices had jumped, but it's inflation so what can I say? I used to have one guy I would go to all the time who never spoke a word of English, but boy did he twist me around and make me feel like I was walking on cloud 9 after he treated me.

Hate to say it, but the last guy just didn't do it for me. I still like the place and may go back, but am also going to look closer around me because now that gas is $4 a gallon, I don't want to travel up there for a treatment I'm not thrilled with. However, there's lots of people giving massages so try it, you might find a good one.;

OK. OK. Where do I start? I love coming to Sunset and their team of masseurs. The guys really do try their best to make sure you have the most enjoyable experience possible. The spot can be a little hard to find as it's located upstairs, but it's worth the search. I love their foot soak. This is an absolute oasis in the middle of craaaazy Hollywood boulevard up the street. I mean come on. After walking around all day in LA, your feet will be thanking you and wishing for more. LOVE.

I want to love this spa but both times I was here, the massages were pretty bad. The therapist dont really do a good job at the massages and I've experienced this twice already. It's a clean facility, it's relaxing with plenty of parking onsite. Again, I wish the therapist were better because I would definitely come at least once a week. It's not cheap either. $50 for an hour long foot massage or combination massage. The quality of the massages was poor. The therapist don't know any pressure points or anything like that, they just rub your feet for an hour.

So great. My first time. Joy was great! So beautiful! So worth the price. I love their crystal fire. Wish they had vegan treats and organic fruits, but all was lovely. Parking is very compact, be careful.

The massage was good but they are dirty! They don't change the main towels you lay on between each person and the table's face hole smells like a million faces have drooled on the material in there and they've never washed it. I left gagging. It's unfortunate because the masseuse guy went deep. I'll never go back though yuck! I'm still scarred from that smell.

I've been coming to Sunset foot spa for three years now. The manager Mike goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortableAnd to make sure you get an amazing massage. Best prices and competent masseurs. I highly recommend this place five stars! -T

Wanda is great! I called her very last minute needing an appointment so stressed due to family illness and she said "Normally I'd say I'm booked for today, but I can really hear it in your voice." I loved that and it makes me want to go her again. Not to mention I felt soooo much better after physically and emotionally and slept like a baby afterwords. Thanks! Can't wait to see you again soon hopefully.

This not a private room establishment, that being said this is hands down (or should I say feet down) an amazing massage parlor. The price is beyond reasonable and the staff is talented in working out those major knots. Call in advance to reserve a spot because even though it's a big place they get busy.

I had a 15 minute chair massage after a long morning of sight seeing. It wasn't a relaxing massage, but instead a massage to get out my 'kinks' and tightness. Lots of thumb and elbow use on my back, but it did get the knots out of my shoulders. If you are looking for a relaxing chair massage I would let them know because you may find the deep tissue chair massage uncomfortable. Great value and staff were friendly.

Great at getting in last minute. Price is great. $35 for a body combo hour, definitely can't find anything in comparison for the price. Have been several times and no matter who the Masseuse is it has been enjoyable. Have tried many other spots but this is the fave.

Heaven on earth. For $30, you can get an incredible 1 hour foot, full body, or combo massage in a tranquil, clean environment. The low lighting and Mozart softly playing in the background is the perfect environment to de-stress. I went with the combo massage, which included 20 mins back, shoulders, and neck, and a 40 minute foot massage. Every minute of the massage was amazing, and I left feeling refreshed and stress free. Staff was super nice, and fit me in without an appointment. I only had to wait about 10 minutes. They accept all major credit cards.

I have been several times, and all of those times were fine. You get what you pay for, but this time, and I don't complain or even end a Lyft ride early, but this time was just awkward, not relaxing, and the massage was jarring and too aggressive. I love a firm massage, and I love Thai and Korean Massage, so I can handle pain, but this was rough in. a way that felt like the staff didn't really know what to do.

I got a chair massage, and have before. I have been getting massage, in general, at least once a month for 10 years. I have got massages in other countries and with other styles. I've gone to hole in a wall places. I called yesterday to make an appointment, and a woman kept answering, .

Best bang for your buck! I've been to Sunset Foot Spa three times now and it's the best value for your money when it comes to foot massages. The place is clean, good ambience, no hoopla, just a good place to get your massage and go on about your day. I've been on the hunt for good foot massages (price & value) in the greater LA area and this place is definitely up there. Will be coming back again soon!
