I'm a long time client and love the care and attention I receive at Sundance Massage. The facility is a bit out of the way, but don't be deceived, it is calm and relaxing and the therapists are wonderful. I always leave feeling so much better than when I walk in. Talitha is a gem and she has spent the time to really understand my body's unique needs and I won't go anywhere else.

I love this massage studio! I've had massages with 3 different therapists here and they are all professional, kind and effective! I appreciate the covid safety policies in place as well.

One of the best places I even had a massage at. Super clean, very comfortable, free parking, friendly and highly professional massage therapists. I had few massage sessions with Dennis, and can already see improvement in my lower back. I would highly recommend to book a massage with him.

Love this place! I get massages routinely and this is my new go to spot! I also like supporting a small business. I have been seeing Amy there and she is truly an expert.

High quality massages! All the therapists listen and work hard on your body to calm it down, release tension, and target pressure points for a seriously good massage. Highly recommended!

I am VERY particular about my massages. I have lots of back, neck and nerve issues and really need my massages to bring me relief. Eme does exactly that for me. She is seriously the best masseuse I've found in the greater Seattle area. She knows many different techniques and customizes them to my needs EVERY time. Every time I go in she asks me which area is bothering me the most and asks what I am needing.

She feels out my vibe for the day and sometimes we chat and sometimes we don't. She's very considerate and conscientious. She is seriously the best and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing, relieving, full body massage.

My massage was great. The massuese was very kind and listened to my needs, and the whole environment is very calming. She offered me water after and suggested that I drink extra water in the next 24 hours which I promptly ignored.protip: don't be like me, drink extra water.

For almost 12 years now I have been going to Sundance Massage in Kenmore. It is easy to get to and my weekly massage is an oasis in a busy and often stressful week. Eme is a calming influence and so is the atmosphere. Comfort and Bliss!

I've had a monthly massage with Talitha for years and she does an amazing job! I can feel the pain relief and increased mobility for days and even weeks. Eme is fantastic, too. I've referred several friends and all have been extremely happy with Sundance Massage.

Talitha did such a great job on my first visit, which was on a recommendation. I was SO happy that I made the appointment with her despite my chronic back pain finally coming under control on my own, her work was so amazing and useful at helping me process a lot of stress and trauma I felt like I was holding in my muscles. I am appreciative of the experience she created and nearly fell asleep five or six times. Amazing, the best massage I have had in forever.

This is one of those places where they so deserve the five stars but I don't want the word to get out because then I'll never be able to get in! I've always worked with Talitha and she's fantastic. Really listens to what's going on with me and adjusts each massage accordingly. Best massages I've ever had!

I've seen Eme for yrs, and she is so fabulous.! I've fallen asleep to her Swedish massage, but my current favorite is her Ashiatsu. I love that she's constantly learning and executing new techniques. Plus she ALWAYS adds positive energy to my week.

Sundance Massage is a hidden gem in an unsuspecting parking lot. On the inside, everything is clean and professional, and the room where I was massaged had a great ambience. Talitha is a well trained massage therapist and really knows what she is doing. She is very accommodating - she either chats if you want to chat or quietly works if you want your peace and quiet.

She is also good at finding the right level of pressure that you need. Although I have not received a massage from Eme, I have heard nothing but good things about her as well. Highly recommended!

Eme is very very good therapist. Top I've 3 ever had without a doubt. I have chronic pain due to folks rear ending my vehicle/& smashing into my front while I'm at stop lights stopped. L5-S1 is blown out like your grandma's ear drum :) so it doesn't feel good having been smashed into front to back. Then I gotta tear on my hip. Oh & the neck pain sucks too brings Headaches , stiff & sore neck.

The Whiplash makes my back between my shoulders burn. So Here's where Eme does her magic. She uses her body like a artist w paint and a canvas l. A Shiatsu barefoot massage loosens up the first layers of tissue and makes them melt. When u get your head pressed down while they do feet on your neck is a great stretch. Then after the feet get ready for suction cups :D I love them, high pressure is great for me :) you can hear and feel adhesions popping breaking up as they glide up and down my hips and back. I don't know what I'd do without her. Thanks Eme for all your hard work !

Talitha really knows her stuff! She is an exceptional therapist and I can't recommend her highly enough. The space is quiet and welcoming plus the music she's chosen really helps get me in a good place to fully relax.

I have never noticed this little business tucked in behind the Chinese Food Restaurant but my friend who is a PT recommended Thalitha (Tal-eye-tha) when I mucked up my back and shoulder. She has done an AMAZING job getting the muscles to relax so I can work on strengthening it again. I am not new to massage, and am very impressed by this hidden gem.

Also - easy online appointments and while they do not bill your insurance, they will give you the info you need to place a claim if you insurance covers it. Oh! AND, my first time there I was rushing from work, got there in the nick of time but starving and upon hearing that Thalitha whipped out a quinoa bar for me to munch before my massage. Not sure that they have them all the time - as far as I know I may have been in her purse - but I was very grateful!

Last week I tweaked something in my back and shoulder at the gym. I saw Talitha yesterday and it was definitely one of the top 3 massages I have ever had. I have had many professional massages in my life. She was extremely attentive to my needs and knew exactly what to work on. The spa was clean, peaceful and professional. My schedule is crazy and she and Eme, the other owner went out of their way to be sure to contact me when they had a opening. I will 100% be back to Sundance Massage! Thanks Talitha!

Had my first experience with Sundance this morning, and they were great! I had a massage with Talitha. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. My massage was super relaxing. I came in with a headache mostly due to neck tension, and Talitha worked it right out.

I have been going to Sundance for over 4 years now. I have a weekly 90 minute massage and it is something I look forward to all week! I buy packages so the massages are less expensive. (Still a bargain at full prince)! I see Eme every week but also have seen Talitha occasionally. I have a caregiving business and have taken elderly clients to both Eme and Talitha and fully trust them in their care.

I have some very frail clients. Even though this is a strip mall as others have noted, I am fully transported into a relaxed state just by walking through the door. It is calming, inviting and scents are low key but appreciated. I can tell that Eme and Talitha truly enjoy their work. I am so happy that I found these gems many years ago!

I met Talitha Thompson years ago, when she worked for Dr. John Tong at Whole Health Chiropractic in Shoreline. She was one of my two "go-to" therapists there. I had the opportunity to see her again last summer at Sundance, when my now-regular massage therapist at Whole Health was on maternity leave. Talitha was a great therapist at Whole Health, and she has only improved since!

My daughter also loves Talitha's work -- she too saw her last summer, and she is seeing her twice this month, while she is home from college. Now, I have complex needs when it comes to massage therapy -- I have kyphosis, which makes it difficult for me to remain either flat on my face, or flat on my back, for long stretches of time. The fact that Talitha can do side-lying work, to accomodate my special needs, is a bonus.

If you live anywhere near Kenmore, and are in need of a caring and skillful therapist, look no further than Talitha Thompson at Sundance Massage. OK, on to the ambience and location. The observations of reviewer "Georgia S." are, perhaps, no longer true. I never visited Sundance before 2012, so I can only assume that Eme and Talitha have remodeled since that review.

The place is lovely. Yes, it is a tiny place smack dab in the middle of an unglamorous strip mall, whose other tenants include a convenience store and a mailing center, but once you enter Sundance Massage, you will feel as though you have been transported to another place entirely. (Still a strip mall, but maybe an upscale strip mall in Sausalito.?) I have yet to experience noise from the other tenants. (P.S. I have yet to work with Eme, because last I checked she does not take Premera insurance. Should this change, I may schedule an appointment with her as well.)

I love getting massages, but I have not found a place that I feel strongly about returning to, until now. The front area is very soothing. You relax as soon as you walk in the door. Booking online was so convenient, and it is great that they have weekend and evening appointments online. I am used to getting massages, and am very comfortable doing so, but have never been so relaxed that I actually fell asleep. Eme was great, and really helped loosen up some very sore muscles. I felt much better afterward, and will definitely be back.

I am a software developer, and have been working with Eme at Sundance Massage on some carpal tunnel issues that I have been having - she has simply done wonders for my recovery! I receive massage regularly, and can say with complete confidence that Eme is one of the best! Being able to book online is a huge plus as well!

Had a 90-minute deep tissue massage and it was ahhhh-mazing! My bf recommended this place and got me a gift certificate. The location is not tranquil, but who cares? Usually, when I get a massage, i leave unsatisfied because they never do it hard enough. This gal gave me just enough pressure and got me super relaxed. I went in with some soreness from working out and came out feeling great! I average about 1 facial every other month and rarely get massages because they're never good, but this place may have just changed my mind.

I would like to have given Sundance a good review, reading the other reviews it looks like they do good work. But I had such a bad experience with them I felt like venting. I bought a Livingsocial voucher for them last year and noticed that it was about to expire in January so I call them and it went to voice mail, and I left a message. I got a call back saying that they were completely booked until the next month, so I made the appointment with them, going through all the steps, including giving them all my information.

I asked if it was going to be okay since my voucher was going to expired before the appointment and they were okay with it which was very cool of them. In fact, if they would have just said it couldn't be used that would have been a better experience then what ended up happening. Time passes and I realize that my appointment is coming up and I receive a mass email from them about cancellation procedure and the fact that they were fully booked through February (keep this in mind) and I sent them an email asking when my appointment was because I knew it was approaching.

I receive an email saying I had no appointment and that I was a no show back in September. The date they gave me was a Tuesday a week after a got a puppy and there was no way I would have ever scheduled an appointment then (I know this isn't proof of not scheduling, just my internal dialog). So, I check my calendar and I don't have anything for that day so I email and call them telling them it must have been a mistake.

I get a call back and the lady on the phone tells me she specifically remembers that day and that she remembers calling me and leaving a voice message and that I was the only person that could have left the information (side note: after that call I went and checked my phone records from that month and there was no call on that day from the business number and I never got a voice message from them either).

If that information was in there then why would I have been allowed to schedule an appointment? How was it that I was not scheduled in February and then a little while later, I was scheduled but had to pay the full price? The lady went on to tell me that the blame was all mine, that they wouldn't have had my information had I not schedule the appointment back in September, however, they would have had it because I scheduled the appointment for February, which they were now saying that I had, and could still come in for it, but I'd have to pay full price for it (I know I mentioned this twice, but it's just that absurd).

Who in their right mind would think someone would still go in and pay full price for a massage after that interaction? She indirectly called me a liar. Needless to say I told her that I would not be coming in for that appointment and waited for her to finish her apology for the confusion, which was worded exactly as it was in the email, showing how sincere it really was. PS.

I should also add that while on the phone and typing emails I restrained myself from getting upset, and was polite. None of this customer service was due to me being mean or bullying her, this was simply the way she planned out handling the situation.

I have really enjoyed getting regular massages at Sundance Massage over the past couple of years. They are close to home (a big plus when fighting traffic after work!), easy to schedule online with and the environment is always inviting and relaxing. Everyone here has been so nice! I've been really impressed by the skills of all of the therapists but my favorite is Eme :).

I do try out the others from time to time and when new therapists come onboard. I usually buy a package of massages that saves me some money per massage overall. I have definitely appreciated their availability as nights and weekends are the only times that work with my schedule. Their flexibility by switching between 'swedish relaxation' or a more therapeutic style for the session has helped me quite a bit.

After I biked 200 miles in the Seattle to Portland ride I was full of knots and sore spots. They took great care of me and had me walking less funny in no time. If there is nothing physically bugging me, it's great to just fade away and let my stress dissolve here!

What does a squeaky massage table, zero ambiance, loud location and hard to book appointment have in common? Sundance Massage. Sad to Yelp it was a major let down. Even the massage itself seemed as if the therapist was reading directions by the book as she went. Not to mention the massage was not a full hour. The table noticabley squeaked every time I took a breath in and out. The room was bare.not even a single candle. The location within the strip mall is quite loud even in the private rooms. Disappointing and lacking on every level.

As a massage therapist I unfortunately am frequently disappointed with the massages I receive. This was not one of those times though. After purchasing a deal through Living Social I quickly booked my appointment because I know how fast places can book up after those deals. I made my appointment online (which is a plus) but I see that they are now requiring Living Social patrons to book by phone.

My appointment was with Talitha and she was great. She read my intake form and addressed the areas of my concern. She was able to read my body well and found where my areas of tension were. She also used more advanced techniques like contract-relax as well as easily accessing muscles like pec minor, subscap, anterior scalenes, that other LMP's may have more trouble finding. Overall it was a great experience and I will try to book another appointment with her. The only negatives are that the location is a bit out of the way.
