Spectrum Center School of Massage offers a Professional Massage Training Program in preparation for Washington State licensure. Spectrum is dedicated to promoting excellence in massage therapy and instilling confidence, competence and professionalism in its graduates. Class size at Spectrum is limited to 14-16 students, and all hands-on courses include a qualified instructor and one to two teaching assistants for efficient, individualized learning.The WA State Massage Board has commended "Spectrum for their high instructor to student ratio."

Clients look forward to the student clinic, many returning yearly. Their feedback reflects the high quality of massages received, and the clinic appointment book fills quickly. You are welcome to come and experience one for yourself. As a student you will have the opportunity to complete 100 in house massages.
Semester 1 covers the structure and function of the ten major systems of the human body. The class includes an introduction to Pathology. Semester 2 reviews the systems with emphasis on pathologically related conditions, the inflammatory response, and tissue healing. Massage indications and contraindications are addressed.
Expand your business by learning exciting and innovative spa therapy treatments that can be performed anywhere without expensive equipment or a wet room. Learn "5 star quality" techniques including Hot Stone Massage, Body Wraps & Scrubs, Foot treatments, Aromatherapy, and business development. This 80 hour course will prepare you for a successful practice in the Spa industry and is a must for any practitioner, seasoned or beginner.

I've been going to massage therapy in other clinics for a while now for a problem that has been going on for at least 4 years. Although the massages felt good, I am finally now getting relief and help and also the understanding of what my problem has been with my hamstring from this school. Colleen a student there has been helping me and also giving me exercises and stretches to do on my own. She really has gone out of her way to help me and for once I'm felling better. So thank you so much Colleen and the school for all the help.

Spectrum has a very special place in my heart. I loved the instructor's and the close friendship's that I made attending Spectrum. I learned not only about massage but found my true calling.
