If you want to relax and have a good time after a stressful day, a week or even a year - it's the place to be. Staff is very welcoming and polite, best saunas in town!

Excellent place to relax. After several trips to the sauna and the cold well, a cup of hot tea with amazing apricot jam, and honey, feels amazing. Slept as a baby afterwards.

Felt like I was in another country! I took our bridal party here as a way to have a relaxing day and boy were we not disappointed! It was very laid back and everything was extremely clean. I unfortunately live 3 hours away but I would totally be coming here monthly just for some me-time.

Great place to go for an authentic Russian/Turkish bathhouse. They have the best steam room & plunge pool in Philly.

Good sauna rooms. Decent food, a little overpriced ( 22$ for home made potatoes?) PLEASE REPLACE YOUR ROBES! They are disgusting, ripped and stained.

I love this place. There isn't another place like it in the area, the variation of steam rooms, saunas, plunges, and showers makes it a great place to relax and rejuvenate. They offer food, drink, and massage as well.

I wasn't really sure what to expect at Southhampton Spa, but it was authentically Russian. It was a pretty solid deal where you can spend $50 to get in and then also get amazing Russian food once you're inside. There were plenty of spa rooms to try out with a steam room, a wet heat, a dry heat, an ice room, a jacuzzis, and an ice pool, and plenty of cold showers.

It was a little hard to get a table since we had a bigger group, but we were able to corral a few chairs and tables to feel comfortable. I felt completely refreshed after this visit and it was a nice way to pass a day especially when it was gloomy and freezing outside.

This place maybe looks scary but this is the bathhouse experience you should be having. Steam sauna, dry sauna, hot tubs, Turkish bath, ice room, cold plunge and pool will keep you more than busy for a good four hours. You will leave feeling refreshed and wanting to return. And then you will buy one of those funny felt hats. The Russian food here is surprisingly delicious.

The pickled veggies are addictive and the borscht is the bomb! Spa essentials to bring: Bathing suit Shower shoes or flip flops Water bottle Some spa essentials like a face mask and scrub Vodka and beer What not to bring: Glass Bad attitude

I can't believe I didn't go here sooner! It's $45/person for admission. There's about 6-8 rooms that you can relax in. A pool and two hot tubs when you walk in. The locker and shower room seem pretty clean. The overall exterior and interior isn't that fancy or attractive but it's def nice to go and relax. It's BYOB and you can stay there as long as you like.

They also serve food/snacks there. You don't have to worry about paying for food on the spot, they'll charge it to your number (your locker number). I think that's convenient so you don't have to carry your money everywhere. They offer you a lock so you don't have to bring your own. The staff are friendly and welcoming. If you want additional services, it's extra and you have to make an appointment ahead of time.

This place was great. Pretty clean, and they have Several different saunas. Pretty accommodating for the guests as they provide towels, bath ropes and slippers. The food was also amazing! Had the borscht, chicken and beef kabobs! The only reason for the 4 star review is because the masseuse refused to do the platza for us. We called a head of time and asked questions about this and were really looking forward to it. When we inquired about why this couldn't be done we were told "because he's tired." So that was a bit disappointing. Other than that we were pretty satisfied!

My husband and I bought a groupon ticket for this place. We bought the rejuvenation package. We were instructed to call for an appointment. My husband and I called two days in a row. We had the receptionist "Alex" giving us the run around telling is somebody was gonna call us and nobody did. We showed up today 11:00am and he said we need a reservation for this or he gave is the option to wait until 1pm to see if anybody could help us. What kind of business is this? Poor customer service! Very unprofessional! Your place should be close down!

This place is wonderful! Clean, great selection of sauna and steam rooms (including a cold sauna and a salt sauna), ice cold showers and a cold plunge pool. The swimming pool is clean and there is a hot tub (which I did not get a chance to use). There is a food bar with excellent East European food, all reasonably priced. The towels and robes are tattered, but clean, and the rubber slippers are obviously well-bleached.

This is a real Banya - not a frou-frou luxury spa. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. It is family friendly - there were kids in the pool. Be forewarned: Cash only! But it is so affordable, a run to the ATM is not going to break the bank. We spent about 4.5 hours there, and I could have stayed longer! For anyone who wants the health benefits of the spa, in a simple Eastern European and clean atmosphere, this is the place to go! Next time, I am going to indulge in the massage services!

Every time I go, I think "Why don't I do this more often!" It's especially satisfying in the winter time, heating up in the saunas and hot tubs. As others mention, it's different than traditional spas. Read the website first for more information and be sure to let them know it's your first time when you check in. I'm still new to the experience myself but basically you alternate between hot and cold treatments.

You spend some time sweating in the sauna or Russian bath, then you take a quick ice-cold shower or dip in the cold plunge pool. I did the plunge pool once and haven't been able to bring myself to do it again! It's intense. I prefer the cold shower instead, so that if I can't take it I can take a step back. I'm getting better, and it only lasts about 5-10 seconds.

Try that first before you try the pool in my opinion, but either way you should alternate! Don't just do the saunas and steam room. Then I like to relax in the hot tub a bit, do a few stretches and laps in the pool, then sit poolside for awhile. I typically do this cycle about 2-3 times while there.

Maybe Yelp is not the problem. Maybe it's the Yelpers who have problem? Americanski Yelp fools who wish the Macdonalds version of customer service. You no like it here? Go play in the street. This not place for timid weak non-Soviets. We strong, we like the hot. You? You want the pampering and the upfront information. You no get that here. DO NOT CALL ON PHONE! IGOR NO LIKE TALK! You see "spa" you think "spa" but you get Russian Banya. Banya is not for the weak. Only for the strong. You are weak. Very, very weak.

Fine place. Great facilities, poor customer service. Fyi the place says it closes at 1:30am my friends and I were being rushed out around 11:30-12:00, we had to keep reminding them that they advertise 1:30 on their door and website. Apart from that it's good basic spa and for the money you can't beat it.
