We are a family owned and operated inn and spa located on US Hwy 50 at Strong City, in the beautiful Kansas Flint Hills. We hope to attract travelers who don't just stop in the big cities, but who prefer to explore the nooks and crannies of the country. Those who appreciate the retro charm of red brick and knotty pine or the individual attention one receives at an owner operated establishment. We met in Chicago over 10 years ago. Kevin was a member of the band Frontier and has worked in the service industry for 15 years. Most recently he was a manager at Empty Bottle, Chicago's premiere music venue for independent and avant-garde music. Rachel has been a nationally certified massage therapist for the past 10 years.
Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve - Locatedj ust two miles north of Strong City, the park offers several hiking trials, tours of the historic 1881 limestone ranch house, and a new resource center / bookstore, located in the newly restored two story stone barn. We enjoy afternoon walks in the park.

I stayed here for 1 week while on a business project in Strong City. I am a choice privilege member and would have stayed in Emporia. I am very glad I stayed here instead. The price was competitive and the service was very hospitable. I also got a massage from Rachel. I have received massages from professionals all around the country, and Rachel is one of the best!
