The hotel cancelled my room at 7 pm day of my arrival. They stated that my card was denied; I had more then enough available on my card to cover the charge. I booked this hotel on their website a month or more before my trip. I was at the airport having arrived at 4 pm, but waiting for my elderly mom to arrive at 7:30 pm, and at 7 pm the hotel sent me a cancellation email.

At 7 pm! My poor mom, tired from travel. Thank God I was able to find another hotel quickly a block from the Platinum. Called hotel. They couldn't do anything and had no open rooms, within minutes of the cancellation. I think they overbooked or had a 'desperate' customer. Never will use the hotel and never recommend it.

I was transferred from another property that had overbooked my room. I was pretty skeptical driving up, it's not much to look at from the outside, but the lobby was nice, the lobby bar service was great, and I was given a beautiful suite with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, spacious bathroom, semi comfortable bed and a block away view of the strip. Definitely would stay again.

A great place to stay off-strip. All the "rooms" are suites with kitchens and well-appointed. The suite was spotless and everything in good working order. All members of the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. For a SUITE within walking distance of the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the rates were very reasonable.

Loved staying here. The location is convenient, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and had everything we needed. The view was great and we enjoyed using the on site pool and lounge area. We will definitely be back at The Platinum next time we visit the area.

I Had My Hotel Broken In To On MAY 14th 2022 & My 1st Time In Vegas! DON'T STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! Because they have little to no security on all shifts (NIGHT) or any good facility surveillance cameras that don't show clearly when seen on a screen anyways. It doesn't ensure that all customers are safe as well as their properties like any other hotel in Vegas.

My hotel was broken into by an (PLATINUM HOTEL EMPLOYEE!) That still works for them as of TODAY his name is NICK! (Caucasian Male with a kind of orange haired beard with forearm tattoos maybe 160lbs) and they even gave him the weekend off after my things were stolen. He somehow "Clocked Out Early' the night of the break-in is what I was told.

They didn't even feel as if they were responsible for the stolen goods saying that I've must of "closed the 50lb hotel door incorrectly" to my own hotel! (Even went as far as to say I'm defective in closing doors lol) Watch for NICK the employee he will act as if he is liking your clothing or jewelry or just being friendly just to size you up find out what room you are staying in and take your belongings.

He will keep crossing your path randomly slowly planning to enter your room while your away. He will also come inside your room and play with the door in a sneaky manner if you take midday naps ( You will hear random clicking noises) that is because he is trying to slide a small flat piece of paper into the latch part of your hotel door so you won't even recognize that your door can still be PUSHED OPEN when you leave!

When they say they get a "System Alarm" that tells them that your door isn't closed all the way as security they don't even call to the room check and see if something is going on. Even for that matter didn't check their own facility to make sure no red flags are in the works of happening in the building. Find another place to enjoy Vegas Please I Promise You Will Enjoy Vegs More! @ NEW YORK NEW YORK, THE MIRAGE or the STRAT!

Somewhere where you feel more safe and the people enjoy all surroundings all the same! Just because this place has a kitchen, balcony, bath tub & walk-in shower, is fairly cheap, no casino, seems like it's not too busy, don't be fooled by the ruse NICK could be plotting on you next! Book a hotel with a casino more security and cameras to watch ALL AREAS AT ALL TIMES! This is not a fluke message take this into serious consideration please for yourself and your others safety!

Overall, really great hotel option for people who want to visit Vegas, but don't want to be overwhelmed by the Strip. Very conveniently located just off strip, can walk to the monorail station, and the rooms are super spacious with nice amenities (full kitchen). Hotel staff friendly and professional. This is my second stay at this hotel and would definitely come back again!

Nice, updated hotel, about 2 blocks off of the strip. Makes it quiet, but an extra walk to the typical tourist attractions. For me, that was a huge plus, but may be worth considering if you want to be right in the action. The room was HUGE! with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a giant size soaking tub. The couch was a little hard, but nice sized.

The patio was nice for breakfast, but the furniture was metal and got a little hot. I had to cover them with a towel in the afternoon. Parking was included, also a nice feature. I saw a few higher end cars, and didn't hear of any break-ins, so the lot seems secure. The spa was never open, which was the only real drawback for me. I didn't need services, just some product because I forgot to bring a couple of items. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful when questions were asked. Housekeeping was only on request, which wasn't told to me on check-in. But they were good about giving extra towels, coffee, and an extra pillow when i asked the front desk.

Fantastic hotel. The suites are huge the location is nice being just off of the strip but central to everything and the customer service is great. Vanessa Bissonette Director of Rooms is top notch. Actually cares about having happy customers enjoying their stay. Highly recommend.

Very nice room comes with complimentary bottle of wine. They do ask that you load the dishwasher before leaving so just be cautious in using them. You get the basics with them pool cable spa. Expensive for what your getting. Parking is a nightmare don't plan on bringing a lot with you due to having to use stairs to get from garage to hotel. Cable went out for a few hours and when asked they said a lot of their rooms where having that issue and they weren't sure when it would be back on. Had to be issued new room keys cause keys weren't working and it wasn't just our room having that issue. Okay stay not the best customer service but it's not worth the price you have to play.

If I could do 0 stars I would. I went to this hotel and I let them know I was here and they told me they would call me and let me know when the room was available. I went back 2 hours later and they stated my room had been ready for a while but I never received a call. When I was getting ready to put my card on file the girl helping me was giving me attitude and being so rude for no reason.

She mentioned there was going to be a $100 dog fee but other people that I knew were staying there didn't receive a fee and we all had service dogs. I brushed it off and decided I was going to just talk to the manager when I left so I did and when I mentioned this whole situation to her it seemed like she didn't care and looked at me like I didn't know what I was saying.

I asked her if there was something she could do Atleast take some $$ off for the attitude or rudeness of her employee and she said no, she stated she would talk to her employee and that's it. It was my first time in Vegas and I had a horrible experience at this hotel. The only kind people were housekeeping and security.

Great place close to the strip, but far enough off that it is quiet. Staff was friendly and room was clean. We'd definitely stay here again unless we could find something without a resort fee. It is lost on us because we are on the go when in town and don't use any of the amenities.

We stayed in the hotel February 1-4 in a two bedroom suite with our family. The hotel is close enough for walking to the strip and the Linq. The jacuzzi wasn't working which was a total bummer but they did have a gym that we used and was decent. There's free weights and cardio equipment. No bench or squat racks. Clean and well kept facilities, professional staff, close to food, convenience stores and casinos. I would definitely consider another stay.

The facilities are great, but the staff and service are what makes this a place I will return to. Marlene checked us in quickly with excellent hospitality. Brittany and Ray indulged my desire for conversation with a smile while waiting for my coffee to brew. And Belle was so pleasant and helpful upon checkout. And Freddy, the bartender, made an excellent drink and was a delight to chat with. The room well exceeded our expectations and the location, while technically off the strip, was great and still close enough for walking.

Rooms were nice! Condo style with fire place, balcony, inside and outside pool, full kitchen with stainless appliances, huge bathtub for 2 sitting side by side with pillows, separate bedroom and living room. Only thing is $127 resort fee plus $200 deposit which u get back. Total they hold $327. At least they give you a bottle of wine worth $10. Lol.

My wife and I stayed at the Platinum for Christmas this year. The hotel is actually an old condo building with some units being owned by individuals who rent them out through the hotel when not there. The room we stayed in was on the 17th floor and had a nice view of the strip. It was a one bedroom condo style room with a King bed. The sofa made into a bed, so someone could sleep there if needed.

The room was a little dated, but clean. The only down side to the stay was that the parking garage had no elevator. That's not a problem if you can find a space on the first floor, but if its busy and you have to park on the third or fourth floor it requires you to walk up/down stairs.

Nice suites, walking distance to the best parts of the strip. Friendly service and easy getting a late checkout. The rooms are spacious and offer great value. There were two TVs but neither worked. The towels smelled a little funky and the room was not as clean as we'd have liked it; there were crumbs in the couch bed from previous visitors and there were pieces of trash on the floor. Overall a great experience - with a little extra attention this could easily be a 5-star rating.

Impeccably clean, and we loved the size of the suite! Having a balcony overlooking the city was pretty amazing, especially in the evening with the lights. The location was perfect for exploring the shops at the casinos. We did plenty of walking. Smile

The best hotel we have stayed At in a long time Great staff, clean rooms, clean facilities. Except the door well in the parking garage that leads into the hotel building. It was disgusting and needs some TLC. With the exception of that it was almost perfect. We didn't even want to leave and ended up extending our stay for fi e more nights! Keep it up Platinum Hotel! We will be back next year!

Great hotel with a wonderful view. Recommend staying on floor 17. That floor has the best rooms and best view. Every morning was just amazing along with the city night lights. Staff was wonderful and prices fair.

Have no amenities. Park your own car in a dark garage with no elevator, no bag service, no bar, no room service, no gym but they are still charging a resort fee and full rates. Without being on the strip save yourself a fortune and stay elsewhere that has some amenities and helpful staff. Better yet, spend a little more and go to one of the larger Hotels on the strip and enjoy all the ambiance the strip has to offer! (and services)

The hotel is nice, but there is simply not enough staff. Upon check-in, there was no bellman or greeter at the door. I had three huge bags and no one to assist. The check-in agent was nice, but said the bellman had "gone home early" and was not there to help. There was finally another employee who did help me by getting me a bell cart. When I got to my room, it was 10 PM. Discovered the TV in the bedroom did not work. Again, no one from engineering on staff to assist, and the front desk person did not offer to come to look at it to help.

She said I would have to have no TV until 11AM the following day. I have stayed in hotels for 50 years, and I have NEVER once had a non-working TV that could not be fixed by SOMEONE in the hotel. Never happened -- even in remote villages. Not easy to believe in Vegas. Upside -- it was very clean and the bed was decent.

Friendly, professional, and competent staff. Check in was easy. They brought my bags to my room when I arrived. A man also help me carry my bags to my car in the nearby parking garage. I came for a wedding but I would definitely stay here again next time I come to Vegas. The room are all nice suites. My room was spacious and very clean.

No services. Park your own car in a very dark garage, no elevator. No bag service so you have to roll your luggage through the garage down the driveway with cars coming at you. No bar, no gym, no room service, restaurant is closed and pool hours are limited. Might as well stay at some more inexpensive motel and save a small fortune. They have the audacity to charge a resort fee and do not tell you there are no services when you book. Epic disappointment. This place used to be 4-5 stars. Not any more.

My experience was pretty pleasant. Staff ( Front desk) were great. Can't be said about Maintenance, pretty unreliable. The room and the strip view was pretty awesome. Only drawback other than Maintenance were a couple of lighting fixtures in the bedroom and living room didn't work. Cleanliness of the room was a 10 in my book. Appliances were clean and maintained very well. Utensils, plates and glasses that was complimentary for use was clean and well kept.

Overall if improvement on maintaining fixtures and better maintenance response can improve, I really wouldn't mind returning or recommend to family and friends that are planning a trip to Las Vegas.

Customer for the past 5 years and they email us day before our reservation that they overbooked and we don't have a room anymore. Super disappointed and disgusted. We basically paid for someone else to take our room. I don't think I can trust to book with platinum ever again. Lost a customer.

Be very wary of booking a reservation through this hotel. We booked a reservation five months ago for a girls' trip and were bumped the week before to a hotel that isn't where we want to stay and isn't comparable with only one bed in it after having booked a room with two beds. We were told that we were relocated because someone else extended their stay and were being placed in our room. Again, we booked the reservation five months ago.

When we asked for a room at the other hotel with two beds we were told that they were sold out and it was first come first serve and they couldn't give us two beds. I have spent the day on the phone speaking to three separate people and have not received a resolution or any help. An individual identifying herself as a manager named Brittany was very unprofessional.

I have been visiting this hotel for 10 years and sending friends and family to it. I travel a lot for work and I have never experienced anything like this. I wanted to make sure that others were aware that something like this could happen.

I have tried to reach the hotel about a refund for our stay in every way possible. Manager would not help and refused to acknowledge we were bitten at his hotel by something. Just so terrible. They do not try to work with guests on issues. Refused any request for refund or accommodation. Don't stay here.

My honest review. Upon entry of the hotel it was a quick check in. Got up to the room and we were greeted with 2 bags of garbage outside our door. Walked in and the room was nice and spacious, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove, jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer. The bathroom was spacious. After scouting the place we stepped out onto the balcony which had a nice view.

The Bad. Came back in from balcony and seen something moving on the wall behind the front door. Upon approaching I realized it was a roach. I thought I was seeing things and asked my son to confirm. Yes, it was a roach! I was pissed. Called the front desk and they could not move me as they were sold out (July 4th weekend) I asked if someone could come and spray and they said they didn't have anyone on site.

So we left the lights on during our entire stay and was scared to put anything on the floor. I booked it through the Hotel Tonight app and was able to get fully reimbursed. Other than that I would have returned again and again. Unfortunately, Roaches are a deal breaker for me!

I've stayed here three times and each time I have zero complaints. This time around I Thought that I had booked the suite with the two Queen beds but I accidentally booked a king bed on Expedia. When we walked up to the room I noticed that there was only one bed and the other guest that we were with had not arrived but I knew that they would be super upset if we only had one bed.

I walked downstairs and the lady at the front was super understanding and she changed our room reservation and was able to because the queen beds and she was super nice about it and overall their services just spot on. The rooms are always clean, spacious, and close enough to the strip to where you can walk and far enough that you don't have to deal with a cluster f of people lol

This hotel is absolutely top-notch! They have nothing but excellent service, amazing staff, and a willingness to make your stay exceptional. Plus, they have went above and beyond for us today. This morning our horrible airline canceled our flight, and they were willing to give us the same price for another night. After back-and-forth with the airline and a trip to the airport for four hours, they still held up their promise eight hours later and were able to give us a great rate and got us right back into the room we were previously in. It's really great to see that customer service still does exist! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you for all of the great service.

Warning! Management at The Platinum has no qualms about cancelling your reservations if a more lucrative opportunity comes their way and lets you know about it in a curt email. They don't volunteer to help you find suitable replacement accommodations. There was no offer to offset expenses at another hotel. This happened to 13 of my family members who reserved six rooms in April 2021 to attend a 100th birthday party. If you have a special event and can't change your dates, don't take a chance on this hotel.

Horrible unsanitary, rude, rundown homeless everywhere. Not a place to take anyone or use for business. Tried two rooms both stank one had dirty sheets both very dusty and no air circulation. Worse than Circus Circus. UPDATE had to have Apple Card issue a temporary cred as this dump is not responding and claiming I cancelled. That is a lie they cancelled to get more $$ from "suckers" who stay there.

This is literally the only hotel I ever want to stay at! I love everything about this place. It's conveniently located, has an ampm next door, 10 minutes walking distance from strip, quiet, has a balcony, spacious, comfortable, parking structure very close, staff is on point and friendly. The bathtub is HUGE and room was clean. The pull out couch was even extremely comfortable I was honestly sad to leave. I will definitely be back though! Don't look for another hotel, this one is it!

They put a sticker on the suite door of 1419 saying it was sanitized before we walked in the suite. House keeping didn't clean that suite it's not up to covid 19 standard regulations. Master bedroom a mask & sweater under bed, red lighter dropped behind the night stand even though theirs a sticker saying no smoking, table where the tv is on toothpaste dropped behind the table.

Pink lipstick on a clean towel that they gave me that I took downstairs and gave to the person that was working downstairs. The people staying on the suite on the 15th floor above kept throwing the garbage on our balcony.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at, they really try to find anything to get money out of you. Got charged $$970 when my stay was supposed to be $330. They said because i checked in early and because i left trash in the bathroom but don't do room service or take out the trash we're else and i supposed To leave the rest i took out the trash i could in a bag. I've stayed at jet luxury and cosmo and never got charged for early check in or for "trash" which is the maids job, ridiculous.

One of Las Vegas's hidden gems. If your looking for a nice hotel with no casino inside it this is the place for you. I've stayed here over the years and by far it's my favorite place to stay. They have complementary free valet parking. I've always stayed in the princess suite and it's so comfy and amazing. Love the fact they have washer and dryer inside the unit so it's amazing to leave your trip with clean clothes. The pool is solid and the staff is very nice and they also have a nice bar downstairs. Competitive rates and just minutes away from any casino of your choice.

Spent the week here and absolutely loved it. Damn near never left the room it was absolutely beautiful. We had a nice kitchen, huge bathroom, kind size bed, living room, two TVs, and a balcony. The very best part was me and my man were able to bring our dog Marley with us. The hotel had a bunch of sanitizer stations inside and outside of the elevators and requires you to wear a mask in public areas of the hotel.

The pool area is open but there is no restaurant and no room service due to COVID. When ordering food you have to meet the person downstairs iguess the front desk won't allow them upstairs? Anyways I still ordered from joes ny pizza they were the absolute best I still got delivery I just had to go down stairs for it but it was totally worth it.

The Platinum hotel gives you a lot for the price you pay. The location is great. It's off the strip but essentially a block behind Bally's, so we still walked most places and were in the center of the strip. The rooms are huge and include a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, balcony, and a large bathroom with a shower AND a jacuzzi tub.

You can tell that the rooms are really dated, and some of the furniture in our room had stains on it. At least the bed and sheets were clean! There is a small lobby with a bar but no casino, which makes it great if you are a family staying with children. The biggest nightmare was the parking. It's complimentary valet only, and the pull-through area is so small that it often got congested.

But yay for free parking! I wish that the rooms were a bit more updated, and I probably wouldn't make this my hotel of choice if I were coming to Vegas to party with a group of friends. But we were staying here for a youth soccer tournament and it was perfect for that.

Was shocked in a good way when I opened my room. Talk about a spacious floor plan. The hotel was nice and clean with plenty of room we even had a balcony, fireplace and full kitchen. We also had a washer dryer but didn't need to use We really enjoyed our stay the staff was friendly and helpful. Just a little note the stove is electric be careful I learned the hard way! Me and my family will definitely be back.

A quick 36 hour turnaround for business landed me here. The firm kindly made the reservation and I throughly enjoyed my one night stay. It was a very welcoming place. A full 1 bedroom suite and a full kitchen with dining sets, cutlery, and cookware. The bedroom and amenities were fine. Cool soaking bath with jets. There's a lanai over looking The Strip, which is rare for hotel properties. There's a 32" TV in the living area and a 20" TV (tube!) in the bedroom.

There is no casino on the property. Nearby is the Ellis Island Casino, which I love the food there. While I was dining out, it was nice to have the fridge to stash my leftovers and onboard meal for the flight home. There is pool, gym, casual dining, and room service available in the hotel, but I didn't try it. Complementary wine/beer happy hour at 4:00pm.

I guess if I had a longer stay or with my crew or family, this would be a great spot. Away from the casinos, but close enough if that's your pleasure. Free self-serve parking. A modest resort fee. It's no frills, but definitely a giant step above motels.
