Amazing experience. My husband got me the "Mom's Time Out " gift certificate and I got an amazing 30 minute massage, pedicure, .manicure and snack along with tea/water. I would recommend anyone I know to go here! Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and great treatment.

Katrina did an amazing job on my trial and wedding day makeup and hair. She was patient to understand exactly what I wanted and was flexible the day-of to make changes to the makeup. My mom also was very happy with how her hair and makeup turned out with another staff. I would definitely recommend Katrina to help with a wedding day styling.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Mystique Edge. I've gotten my hair treated and cut here several times and have always had a pleasant experience. The other day, I had to call and cancel an appointment due to a last minute personal emergency. I was very upset and the receptionist was so kind and understanding, and told me she hopes things work out for me. This is superb customer service. Thank you so much.

Absolutely AMAZING service here. I went in with an idea and the girls made sure I left with a beautiful cut and color. I had Mariah and Andi both work on my hair and I will definitely be returning to them. Such a good experience!

I live out of state but have visited a few times when I'm back in Rapid City & Mystique Edge never disappoints. Clean facility, wonderful staff & excellent services. I'm a nail spa owner in Denver and have an insider perspective when it comes to salons & Mystique Edge is excellent. They are following all regulations (thoroughly disinfecting & sanitizing all tools, work stations etc) so I always feel safe here.

My mom lives in Rapid City so I buy her gift cards here for all occasions & she is always pleased with her massages, facials, manis & pedis. Professional staff who appear to truly love their jobs. Other than my own nail spas, there is nowhere else I would visit for services other than here. Fantastic job Mystique Edge!

Got my hair done by Lexie today and all I got to say is WOW! Awesome experience, hands down probably the best I've ever had at a salon. She was super helpful, informative, and used her expertise to help guide me to the right look (I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted, all I knew is I wanted red hair and bangs). She knocked it out of the park with the end result!

I have been going to Mystique Edge as a very satisfied customer for many years! I have utilized most of their services and highly recommend this salon/spa. Their Customer Service is top notch, their atmosphere very unique and inviting and the quality of work is amazing. If you haven't experienced Mystique Edge and all they offer, you are missing out. The girls there are so nice and they do an excellent job. I have been getting my pedicures there for some time and I have never been disappointed. The nail art is always a fun addition.

Amazing world class spa right here in the Black Hills region. So relaxing - clean - spacious - extremely kind staff. I had jacked up my right arm and saw Becky for massage. She was wonderful and kind - gentle - competent and brought immediate relief. I will definitely be going back.

This place is beautiful! Super clean, with great staff. I'm kicking myself in the butt for not remembering my technicians name but she was so kind and great company. I got a fantastic pedicure here. If you're traveling through and need some r&r I recommend this place. Just check ahead because you might need to make an appointment.

It has been about a week with my new haircut, and I hate to admit it. I just really don't like it. The more and more I look at it, the more I realize it was not what I asked for. It's a decent cut, but I hate that I paid $39+20% tip for something so basic and that I am not happy with. I thought if my hairdresser styled it for me, I would like it more but I did not.

I think the main problem is that the consultation was not very thorough. I gave a brief description when I sat down, asked questions during the cut, but I don't think my hairdresser was ever on the same page as me even though I brought a photo as a reference. I also think that she may not have had the skills to execute what I was asking for - not a lot of techniques were used.

The service and salon were excellent. So cute and unique. However, I have had $60 haircuts before, and to me the haircut I got was not salon-quality. The other hairdressers may be beautiful artists, but that is not what I experienced during my visit.

I am giving them 3 stars cuz my review isnt so much about how disappointed I was with the services as it provides a detail of my services that I received. I am a travel nurse here a so I want to be pampered and cared for as my patients expect from me.my facial was more of a massage than a facial. I was not impressed at all. It began by washing my face then a massage while the steam was on my face.

Usually there is a masque on my face when this is done there was not a mask. Also the person who did the facial showed up at 1210 for a 12 o'clock facial and I got outta there at 1250 so a 60 Minute facial I paid for was 40 minutes. I paid for a facial nOt a massage. After the steam there was one mask then more massage then another massage on my face then moisturizer.

I get facials pretty frequently and haven't had one this bad in a while. I scheduled a mani pedi with hesitation. There isnt too much of a choIce around here so I hoped for the best and expected the worst. The pedicure was a massage alSo I am on My feet 48 hours a week. They take a beating pounding the floor. They are dry and callouses and after the pedicure they stilll are dry and calloused.

The manicure was alSo awful. She did not remove the polish I had on my naIls. The filing is like a child did it. Not one nail is evenly fIled. My hands take a beating with the soap and hand sanitizer I use at the hospital and the skin is peeling of of my hands. It cracks my cuticles And it still is. Luckily the services are cheap here so all came to a few hours of work.

But I wasted time getting my services here. I just hope that the next place I choose is better than this or it will be a long assignment. Also the products they use are not organic.

I have traveled the world and received massages just about everywhere I've traveled. Since returning to the US finding a good quality therapeutic deep tissue massage has been difficult. If you have injuries and past surgeries justa normal relaxation massage is kind of a let down. If you looking for a little something extra Amber is your lady!

She clearly takes pride in her work and does an amazing job. She has tons of experience and it shows! She was well worth the 4 hour drive! Also, it's -2 degrees outside, the Sauna is an amazing addition to a very cold day!

I live in New York City, but when I come home to visit my family in South Dakota, I always come here for a massage. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of the service, and the experience is excellent every time. I have been going to Amber for several years now and she is fantastic--professional, attentive, and superb at relieving all the tension I hold in my shoulders! I highly recommend Mystique Edge and Amber in particular for a wonderful massage experience.

Had a great deep tissue massage from Margie. Excellent service and she really helped me fix a tweak I had in my neck. Great spot to stop in!

The people who recommended this place were spot on. I had one my best spa experience (ever) here. Mystic Edge is a beautiful, clean, professional environment with more service options than the average day spa. In addition to providing quality services, they have many special touches that set them apart. I had a pedicure and bikini wax here. Both were great. Now, the pedicure was one of the best I have experienced.

Sometimes when you get a pedicure, your feet only feel super smooth until the lotion is fully absorbed. Not this time, I am still touching the heel of my feet because I am so impressed. The wax was very thorough and no irritation. I am tying to come up with reason to go back to rapid city just to go to the spa.

I wish I could give this a lower rating. Went in for a lash lift (I have gotten MANY over the past five years). There were two people doing my lashes. I thought everything was going well but then when they said they were done there was still glue left all over my lashes. I refused to leave with glue on my lashes. They took another 10 minutes scrubbing my lashes to the point where my eyes were raw and the lift didn't take.

I will never go back for a lash lift again. I will give it another try for a different service though because I hear great things. I truly just think the people were inexperienced.

Beautiful salon. I mainly checked out the massage area, but you can get your hair and nails done there as well. The staff are super fun and friendly. Good price for the area and all the things you get.

I absolutely LOVE this spa! I'm visiting my sister from out of town. It was her 30th birthday, so I decided to treat her to the Pure Heaven package, which includes a massage, facial, and mani/pedi. The entire staff was very professional and helpful, and we didn't feel rushed between services. Also, we got to sit in the sauna for a while afterwards and were offered complimentary tea, water and coffee and were also offered different kinds of wines, beers and cocktails for a small fee. It was a wonderful and relaxing afternoon, and I hope to be able to come back in the future!

I got a pedicure today. The environment was very nice, the spa area was very relaxing. I am not terribly happy with the results of my pedicure, however. The ridges were not smoothed out of my nails and my heels were not really exfoliated at all. (Still rather rough, the reason I went for a pedi in the first place) The massage chair was nice, and I would like to try maybe their massage or hair services, but probably won't be getting a pedi there again. I could have gotten these results at home.

Came here twice, once with my husband for a 90 minute massage and once with my sister-in-law for a facial and I was so impressed with both experiences! I would even go as far as to say that was the best massage I've ever had and such a relaxing environment! Highly recommend them for any spa services!

I love this place! I am seeing Kate and she gives the best massage I have ever had. I now have routine visits to keep back and myself in much better shape. Kate is also extremely nice with great customer service, working to ensure specific issue areas I have she pays attention to and it has made a big difference on how I feel. I am from Los Angeles and have had great massages, but Kate is on the top of the list!

My boyfriend scheduled a massage for me here.it was seriously the best. The place doesn't look that nice from the outside, but when you walk in, it is so cute, nicely decorated, calming and spacious. We walked over to the spa side, which is separated from the salon. There is a waiting room, with comfortable couches and cool water that you can help yourself to.

The massage itself was great! The warm towels they put on your feet while you are receiving the massage and at the end of the massage, was the perfect touch! I left feeling so relaxed and at ease. I will definitely be back here next time I am in town! Great job guys! :

Carly did such an amazing job with my hair. She cut and styled my hair in a way that had never been done before. She knew what hair style would look good for my face. I will be visiting Carly every time I need a hair cut and I suggest you do the same!

I love mystic edge. Wonderful atmosphere. I love the girl who dyed my hair. Very reasonable price compared to my previous salon. They made me feel very comfortable and like I can trust them.

I moved out of Rapid about two years ago, and I very much miss this spa. I have always had good experiences here from pedis/manis, to haircuts, to massages. I moved to vegas where there are plenty of spas out there, but I still miss this one. The massage rooms were some of the nicest I've experienced and the people there are so friendly, it's clean and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

I usually got appointments within a responsible time of requesting one. It's been awhile, so I can't remember the names of all the technicians I've met with, but I love this spa. If I ever move back, I will surely stop by again!

I will have to try another Spa in town. I just didn't have the experience I was hoping for. The masseuse that did my massage did fine, but I would have appreciated it if she would have actually worked on the areas that she had asked me about at the beginning of my massage. Since I had a 90 minute session, she should have had plenty of time to be thorough. Won't be returning anytime soon. Mystique itself had a nice feel and I would consider returning, but just with a different masseuse.

With my stressful job, i get massages nearly every month to relax. ive always gone outside of rapid city to get a massage thinking there wasnt a good spa in town. i was wrong. i was pleasantly surprised by the mystique edge. it has the look and feel of a day spa in a major city. their massage bed is actually the most comfortable bed ive ever been in and the massage i had was the best ive ever had. better than elizabeth arden's red door signature massage! price was $65 dollars for 60 minutes at the time of this review. ask for jessica rodda. nice people. great service. try it.
