Moxie Massage

This is my go-to massage place. All of the staff have given amazing massages that have helped me so much with my back and health issues. They are so friendly, caring in all they do, and give tips and suggestions on further health changes and treatment. I love this place and will continue to receive massages from them. Highly recommend!

I recommend this business. Kendra is great. Fixed all my problems. No complaints, only compliments. Fair price. However, show up early to look for parking, and check the meter's maximum time allowance.

Amazing, really. I'm embarrassed because when I went in, I was out of it and in terrible shape. I had basically been up for two days straight with a work emergency, and had recently pulled a muscle in my neck/shoulder, so I was in a lot of pain. I honestly don't even remember my therapist's name, but she was great. The moment I walked in, it was so calm and serene.

The massage itself was very relaxing, and even though a Swedish massage was booked, she could tell I needed some deep-tissue work in several areas and incorporated those in. I also appreciated her knowledge about ways I can relax better at home and hopefully better manage myself. All in all, I left in a much better condition than when I went in. Thanks again, and I'll see you soon!

Certain staff are way too highly advocating for Socialism and anti-Americanism. Be aware before you choose to go. Not a great way to relax.

As a first timer. I was throughly impressed by the whole experience! Heather even went above and beyond to make sure I understood techniques and how to relax. I'm never one to leave reviews but today I felt the need to! Back in two weeks and I cannot wait! Don't be nervous and take some you time! Don't wait 40 years like i did!

My girlfriend loves this place. She swears by Heather and her Heather heals massage. I call and pay over the phone, and she shows up on the scheduled day and gets an awesome treatment

Got my first massage at this place. T Heather was great with her massage. She knew where I had stiffness and how to ease out. I have had issue with blood circulation and chronic aches. 1 day later, I am still feeling lighter and better. I am certainly going to go back.

I arrived for scheduled massage and no one was there. Called several times with no answer. Not a good way to run a business.

I booked an appointment for my husband as an anniversary present. I booked a Saturday appointment as he works during the week. Come time of the appointment, door is locked and no one is answering calls or texts. Pretty upset I paid $75 for poor service. I will be booking elsewhere.

Heather was super personable and I felt a thousand times better after my massage. The feel of the place is awesome too, very cozy and calming.

I was in town for work and was able to find this place for a lunch massage. They were friendly, an easy walk from the hotel and the atmosphere is lovely inside. I texted them via their phone prompts and received a quick response and got in the next day. Massage was good and pressure as requested. I would go again.

Heather was amazing. She was able to accommodatey husband and I with appointments during our visit home. She is extremely friendly and professional. I will definitely return when I'm in town again.

Had a facial, unfortunately she was unable to do extractions and there was no shoulder massage otherwise okay.

Great massage! Kayla listened to where my problem areas were and did a fantastic job balancing focusing on them and ensuring other areas weren't too neglected. She was accommodating and when a walk-in slot wasn't available she offered to stay late and texted me to set up an appointment convenient for us both! Wide array of massages available and they will explain and even combine techniques to tailor your needs.

My therapist was great. She made me feel welcomed when I arrived. She was a skilled therapist and asked me to tell her if it was too much. The warm towel at the end was great.

Fantastic women who continually learn new techniques and really cater to your specific needs. They listen to what you're having issues with and work to get you back to feeling great. I absolutely love it here and try to treat myself once or twice a month.

I've been to Moxie multiple times for massages and always have a wonderful experience. Heather and Kayla are so welcoming and really take the time to get to know their clients, never feel like I am at a chain massage place. I also love how dedicated Heather is to massage, she takes her weekends to learn about new massage techniques and ways to improve her clients health and prevent upcoming issues.

The owner Heather is phenomenal! Very accommodating! I had no trouble booking an appointment. My massage was wonderful! Very relaxing! And she has magic hands! Great place, very convenient- across the street from the Hilton Doubletree Abe Lincoln hotel in downtown Springfield.

I am a massage therapist (and nurse) new to the area and was looking to find a spa place. This place is tiny and in the heart of downtown Springfield! The massage was PERFECT, just outstanding! I met Kayla who worked on me and she was very professional and took her time to make sure my muscles would RELAX! Great place! I will be returning there!

Great massage by Connie, extremely poor management by owner! My daughter ordered me a massage online before Christmas and her credit card was charged, but I have yet to receive a gift certificate. She has attempted to contact them but phone always goes to voicemail and no one ever respond to messages left. I had a similar problem awhile back when attempting to schedule a massage never got a return call.

This would be a great business if the owner would stick to providing service and hire a manager. Heather, your response just provides more proof of your lack of professionalism when it comes to management. Also learn to read! I haven't been to your shop in awhile but when I was there I received several great massages from Connie! My daughter ordered me a gift certificate for Christmas to my SURPRISE, but still nothing. A good manager would reach out to see what they could do to help instead of calling a person a liar.

I had a Sat appointment when reached door was locked. Tried calling number on door couple of time no response also texted never got a returned text. Poor service waisted my time making appointment following up couple of time to confirm then driving all the way after making arrangements and re scheduling to make the appointment. Very very disappointed.

I purchased an hour massage for my wife's birthday. She had never had one before and her work had been stressful. Contacting the company prior to and making the scheduling work out for the appointment was pleasant. They were very flexible and able to work with us. When my wife returned from the appointment, she was wearing a smile that just wouldn't quit. I definitely recommend this company.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Warm massage tables. Very relaxing. Had water waiting for us afterwards. However, I paid for an one-hour Swedish Massage; I received a 50min Swedish massage.

Edit: just left my Swedish couples massage and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Comfortable, warm, and friendly. Definitely the best in town, highly recommend! Massaged based on your preference (I don't prefer super deep tissue massages, and it was perfect for me!) Can't wait to go back for another in the future!

Ive enjoyed this relaxing off the beaten path spa which I've visited several times for mani pedis as well as several massage packages. Both heather and Connie are both highly skilled therapists who are as helpful with the physical aspects as well as the mental. This relaxing and intimate spa makes you feel right at home and mostly like a mini vacation from your busy day.

Very quite & relaxing experience. Massages where lively. Went with an hour massage & 30 min reflexology. Parking is off street & they watch your meter for you so truly they relieve all your stress & at a very reasonable price. Connie & Heather where both very friendly & set you at ease. Schedule by appointment & they can work around any schedule.

This massage shop is hidden amongst the hustle and bustle of downtown Springfield. After meeting Heather, the owner and massage therapist, in the mall while she was doing chair massages for Rogers and Hollands Jewelers guests, I decided to give her a try. After standing all day, a massage was the perfect thing for my achy back. Heather was able to give me suggestions on what type of massage would be best to alleviate my pain.

The massage was fantastic, and I have been going back on a regular basis to keep my body in-line and as a great way to relax. I would recommend this quaint shop to anyone looking for a massage in the Springfield area.

I have visited several other establishments in Springfield, but none of them have offered the level of service I received at Moxi! Not only was the experience relating, but it was friendly and personable too. Far to often business owners are not recognized for Exceptional service and only receive feed back on the bad. I have to say I would recommend this quaint little shop to anyone in town looking for a new massage therapist. For sure a hidden gem in Springfield.
