We kindly ask that if you need to change, cancel, or reschedule your reservation that you notify us within 48-hours notice. Text reminders will be sent to you two days before your scheduled appointment. Any appointment canceled with less than 24-hours notice will result in a fee priced at 50% of time booked or two hours, whichever is less.

I have been a long time Coors location client but it doesn't seem like this salon values this any longer. Over the last year the Coors location has cancelled my appointments last minute a few times now. Then it takes a few months to get the appointment rebooked. Today, I showed up for my appointment and they claimed they called me a week ago to cancel the appointment.

I never received a call or received a message. This isn't the first time this has happened so I decided to find a new salon. It's really unfortunate because the stylists are really good and pleasant. They really need to work on their scheduling, customer service and follow up.

I asked for lighter blonde highlights with a hint of red and did not get that. My hairdresser told me that what I asked for is what I got. I'm 45 and have been going to Mark pardos since 1996. I'm not wanting to return but after $190, I want it fixed.

The manager at the Coors location is an absolute disgrace! I had an appointment for my baby shower for a highlight, they cancel my appointment leaving me no time to reschedule! I called them back several times to see when I could get in. I got messages that the manager would call me back, was put on hold for over 20 -30 min each time. Then given an excuse we can't schedule you because our computers are down.

Then told they can't get me in for months and acted like it was MY fault and they did nothing wrong. Worst hair salon I have ever been to. Overpriced, unprofessional, in accommodating. Will be reporting to the BBB etc.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value Every time I go there I'm made to feel like a welcome guest. I love the Aveda tea that is offered while waiting. It's wonderful to be able to return to the salon and enjoy the experience of a soothing pedicure with Nicole and Elisabeth. I just love this Marc Pardo facility and the friendly staff that is there. Thank you! Raquel is a true talent! I feel really cute and have a little bounce in my step again! The salon is a wonderful respite from reality if you book a session. The customer service is top notch from start to finish and that includes the whole staff. Being new to Albuquerque this is a gem of find for me as I was spoiled by my last hairstylist in Farmington. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment at this salon! Disappointed because I love the atmosphere and Aveda, but I am so frustrated!

I've been keeping an old photo on my photo and showing it to stylists for years in hopes they could make my hair like the photo. Today Maxine did it! She actually made it happen. Showed me in detail how to do it once at home - my hair is the photo! It's the first time I've ever scheduled another appointment while I was still in the salon. Thank you Maxine!

Best experience in years of finally finding a stylist who gave me the cut I wanted and corrected some problems with my over-processed hair. After a year of trying to do my own cuts and coloring, Maxine fixed everything and I left with a smile. Still smiling the next day. I will definitely return for my next cut and I would highly recommend this salon.

I have been going here for ~25 years. They no longer value long term customers. I'm going elsewhere. Always loved the products and the cuts. 2021 my appts were cancelled twice due to stylist availability. The first one was rescheduled but the 2nd one was not. They forgot to call me back. NOW they want a credit card from me before I go in case I dont show?! What do I get when the stylist doesn't show? Oh yes. nothing. Rated 2 stars for poor customer service.

For the last two months I have scheduled services. In November the receptionist said I don't have an appointment. So I asked her to schedule me a December appointment with Mariah, again. I called today to confirm my appointment and the receptionist said I don't have you have you scheduled. What's wrong with the staff. Now I need to find another salon! It bothers me but I will spend my money else where.

Love Brittany's work! She is very gentle and calm. Both qualities you want when receiving lash extensions. She explains what will happen and what she is doing as she works. Brittany listens to your concerns and questions and addresses them thoroughly. She showed me how to groom and care for my new lash extensions including what types of products that can and cannot be used in doing so.

She also provided me with grooming and cleaning tools. I am allergic to mascara and this is just the product I was looking for to replace mascara. My lashes look beautify. Thank you Brittany for such a fabulous job!

When I made the appointment I explained that only wanted someone who knew how to use a razor for a texturized pixie. When I got there no one could use a razor and they insisted it would look the same with scissors. It didn't. My haircut looked like a helmet. They don't listen or respect what you say you want.

Horrible Experience! Had an appointment for a full service pedicure - 1 hour plus appointment. Got stuck in traffic - talked to salon twice while I was in traffic- they new I was on my way. Suggested if there was not time for the pedicure I would just have a manicure. When I arrived I was turned away at the door - they took another client - and gave away the rest of my time away! Outrageous.

Obviously courtesy a customer service are not their priority- will never go back! The salon's response is simply NOT true. I talked with the salon twice to let them know I was on my way, and arrived within 5 minutes of my second conversation. There was still over 30 minutes left of my appointment time - so they took another client - instead of honoring my appointment time!

They were very willing to fix my haircut, no charge. I had shown pics and asked for a short low maintenance haircut for my fine thin hair- my original hair dresser was great but seemed timid on the cut- too long- as well as needing more care than I wanted on a daily basis. Next day I called back and explained. They told me to please come right back in cuz they want me to love it! I had a trainer, Cynthia, redo it, cut it much shorter like I wanted and I'm very happy with it. Thank you so much!

Ladies and gentlemen, I don't need a new best friend. I just want someone to do their job. Right? Like I do my job. Alida was professional, focused, and skilled. That's ALL I need. Some of y'all be asking for too much from a hairstylist. She's not there to be a therapist. She's there to expertly cut and style hair. I'm happy.

I had a certain expectation of an Aveda salon, and the whole experience met and exceeding those expectations. Now that I can afford this level of hair care, Alida and staff totally delivered. It's so nice to finally "make it" : The salon staff were friendly, welcoming, and everyone. was. cleaning. and. disinfecting. I love that they took my temperature and had a handwashing station upon check-in, thanks for keeping me and your staff safe!

The experience was amazing. It was such a welcoming environment and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. Rue Feathers did my hair and she was friendly and took her time to figure out what I wanted! I absolutely love the way my cut came out and will be going back to see Rue.

I'm new in town and a new friend recommended Mark Pardo Salon. I travel a lot and needed cut and color. I was booked with Raquel and brought in a photo of highlights I wanted to try. Light and dark with a toner to calm down my usual 'yellow' results - - going more for a beige blonde. Raquel listened, asked questions and then made suggestions considering my fine hair and regrowth. Raquel made me feel very comfortable. Actually everyone in the salon was friendly and welcoming. I'm very happy with my results and can easily recommend Raquel.

I used to go to those cheap salons in Walmarts because of cost, but I started going here for the quality. I have been going here for some time and have not been disappointed. Yes, it is a pricey salon, but it is full service. They offer beverages while you wait and have very personable and professional employees. I am willing to pay the price because they do such a great job and offer different services.

Curly Hair Folks, look no further! Deanna is AMAZING! She's an expert stylist (which means you'll pay a bit more, but she's worth it!) who has been trained in proper curly hair cutting techniques. She turned my long, frizzed-out shaggy mess into into an adorabley coiffed chin-length style. I'd also recommend Marisa as a great backup! She's done a great job in the handful of times I couldn't get in with Deanna. Marisa is my daughter's go-to stylist for her long, thick, straight hair.

My only complaint is that I've had to wait sometimes as long as 15 mins after my appointment begins to be seated in the chair. I know it's not the stylists fault, but a *realistic* time heads-up at check-in would be very helpful. Despite the tardy starts, the friendliness of the stylists, their professional skills, the scalp and shoulder massage, and the free make-up touch ups are the little extras that keep me coming back and recommending them to anyone who asks!

Everyone is super welcoming and helpful. Deanna is very thorough and does a great job with color and cut. I really love the products and how knowledgeable the staff is when you have a question. The Aveda practices are amazing with scalp and hand massages. They offer you tea or water while you wait and make it their focus to keep their guests comfortable. Thank you.

Until my appointment yesterday I was a repeat customer. I will not be going back. My stated desire for my haircut was to let it grow while maintaining the same geometry, e.g., sides longer than the back. My haircut is not the hair cut I asked for and is definitely not the haircut I wanted. The back is significantly shorter. The hair on the sides is wispy.

All my hair was thinned. I would be very curious to know how many women in their 60's go to a salon and ask the stylist to make their hair look thinner. First thing my husband said when he saw me after my appointment was that my hair looked shorter and thinner. While this is probably a good haircut technically, thin and wispy was not my desire. I am now a former customer.

My review was deleted? Horrible service at this place. Will never go back although they gave me a refund for screwing up my hair. They were extremely rude about giving me a refund and they were completely unprofessional. Cynthia is the only one at this place that understands professionalism.

The Mark Pardo salon off Coors took great care of my elderly mother. I wasn't able to be at the appointment, so I had to arrange a driver and trust that the stylist would be able to work with my mom (she has some dementia and gets confused very easily). We scheduled a cut and color with one of the Protege stylists (I think his name is Franquee?) and I explained the situation to one of the managers.

They told me not to worry, and they were right - the salon was really kind and Franquee did an absolutely lovely job with her cut and color. Mom is still telling me and my sister what a wonderful time she had - how he had consulted with her about the right shade of golden blonde to give her white hair some pizzaz, and how he gave her a hand massage and kept her entertained. she felt like royalty.

The Mark Pardo team lead called me later that week to see how the appointment had gone, which was really courteous. Very impressed with the customer service and Mom's hair is a very pretty champagne that looks great with her skin. We've already got Mom's follow-up scheduled. Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of a sweet little old lady!

My daughter and I have been seeing Francie to have our hair cut and styled for the past 4 years now. My daughter has had every length, ranging from almost pixie to middle of her back long, and I have had several styles as well. Francie always remembers small details we share with her and we share stories and pictures.she is the sweetest, most professional hairstylist I have ever done business with.

The reason why I am only giving 4 stars has nothing to do with Francie, but with the constant raising of prices by the salon. I do splurge on my haircuts, because I only go 4 times per year, but, the cost has become outrageous and prohibitive. A haircut and style should not cost $80 in the ABQ market. This is not LA, not NYC. Especially when we used to pay $55, which is still high, but not outrageous.

When my stylist left, I tried another stylist who was supposed to be comparably trained. She did a great job with my hair overall, but was disingenuous and mostly focused on pushing products, which is incredibly irritating. The front desk staff at Pardo has never been their strongest asset, and this was a particularly nonsensical experience involving the staff standing behind the counter gabbing about office drama before bothering worth assisting me. I went ahead and made a follow up appointment, which was rescheduled 3 times before i stopped calling them back and changed salons. They clearly don't need my business.

Scheduled an appointment for prom. Waited for 15 minutes past appointment without any explanation. Staff is very pretentious. While I was getting my hair done several employees kept coming up to my stylist telling her she had "other clients waiting and that she needed to hurry up with my hair." Very rushed and rude! Girl who did my make up was very sweet!

But Not sure she knew what she was doing. There was one individual who insisted on giving my mother and I very nasty looks as she would walk by. Will NEVER be back again. And I don't recommend unless you want to be treated like you are less than them. The only reason they even get 1 star is because I can't write a review with zero stars.
