Men's skin is substantially different from women's: with thicker skin, larger pores, more oil glands, and frequent shaving to take into consideration, it's important that extra care is given to the complexion. Although Mario Badescu Skin Care is a unisex line, we've expanded our product assortment to include essentials that are specifically designed for men. This line of men's grooming products is dedicated to help prep and nourish skin while encouraging a smoother, more even shave.
Effective skin care extends beyond the face. For healthy, radiant skin from head to toe, we recommend following a basic body care regimen that includes a body wash, exfoliant, and lotion. Our bath and body range includes everything from essential cleansers to decadent body moisturizers to help pamper, treat, and care for skin.

I called the NYC spa to speak to someone about switching from my line of skincare to Mario Badescu and the lady that answered the phone spoke with a foreign accent. I tried explaining to her that the skincare test on the computer wasn't working correctly. She proceeded to tell me to clear my browser. I told her I had done this several times. I just wanted to try the product.
I didn't want to be treated like I was asking for her to move a mountain and I was the dummy moving it. I finally just hung up after hearing her. I didn't want her to give me the skincare test. I didn't want to even talk to her much less buy products from her. No one wants to deal with rudeness and spend money to boot.

My facial place of choice for the regular maintenance. I come once a month for cleansing, exfoliating and extractions. I asked a tech a few years ago how celebrities kept such amazing skin with all the makeup and element and they told me "because they're always in here. They do this regularly." I committed to monthly facials after that and my skin is complimented daily. It's worth the commitment and MB is my most dependable beauty secret.

It's been since May 2018 that I go to this salon on biweekly basis. I get electrolysis with Miriam, who's the best. She's so detailed, so careful and she's after each of my facial hair( which was bad due to polycystic ovaries). Ajete, the young lady who works at the front desk is very nice, too. Always smiling and welcoming. All of the ladies at the front desk are very caring as well. The salon has a positive energy which makes you feel like at home.

While the name and products may be great, suggesting that the spa specializes in "facials"'is stretching it. Today we visited for a girls weekend, five of us went in and instead of spa, I would consider it to be a clinic. The ambiance was stark at best and though the greeter was kind, that is where the stars stop. For $109.00, I was placed in a room, alone.
I had a paper mask applied after resting under a steamer for 15 minutes. When the esthetician came in to "do" the facial it consisted of washing my face with witch hazel and a brief hand massage that was anything but relaxing. Although it was a reasonable fee, for less money, I could have gone to a box facial spa. I also "added" a $45.00 seaweed mask which she applied liberally and let me sit another 15 minutes.
While this may be an expectation at Sweet and Sassy or a kids salon, I felt this "spa" experience wasn't worth the money. I did tip my provider however as she was kind however I won't return.

Had a facial there a few days ago and absolutely LOVED it! I am in my twenties and trying to take better care of my skin and Corina, my aesthetician, was very gentle and helpful. I got an additional Vitamin C mask which left my skin feeling very hydrated and cool. After, I got a full consultation from another staffer who instructed me on products I could use everyday.
I did not feel pressured to buy anything but ended up purchasing the whole line because I loved the way my skin felt so much! I highly recommend getting a facial here, no matter what type of skin you have!
