This was the most gorgeous B&B I have ever stayed in. The hospitality was above and beyond and the food was amazing! We stayed in the cottonwood cottage behind the house and it was so peaceful. Bob, Kathy and their daughter Jenn were amazing hosts. Overall just a wonderful place.

I stayed at this bed and breakfast the day I had endured the passing of a loved one. The person that normally takes care of the place was away due to a family emergency, so some other family members filled in and they couldn't have been any more kind to me. Even though I declined, they offered to make dinner for me. They had told me several visitors to the State Veteran's Home stay there when visiting (which is where I had been that morning).

I stayed in a room upstairs with a shower and a bubble jet tub. Even I entered the room, the TV was set to a channel with relaxing music. The room was very charming. In the bathroom, they had Vanilla scented shower gel and scented bath salts for the bath. Location is quiet. Breakfast the next morning was good. Company at the table was nice. Wish I could have stayed longer. Good for a getaway or just a relaxing night.

WOW. Gracious, kind, warm, and friendly inn keepers. Bedsheets are to die for, with an inviting, comfortable bed. Caters individually to your breakfast time. GREAT historical home reflecting back to the civil war. A great price, with modern comforts; air conditioned, wifi, showers - or an old time soak in a claw foot tub (somewhere in time room). Many inside parlors and outside decks available to read, or just relax. Find a way to come stay here. Any reason.

The purpose of the visit was to go thru this gorgeous house. My birthday is in a few months and to stay there would be a present to myself. I was not disappointed. It is located near the square in Bonhan, Texas The 3 story house is beautiful There are 3 bedrooms, baths and a private cottage. We were able to see the rooms in the house. Jenn greeted us, explained everything and answered our questions. I enjoyed meeting her and am looking forward to my stay.

If you are ever in Bonham, you need to stay here. The hosts were especially wonderful and helpful during our stay. Very beautiful Victorian home built in the late 1800's. Within walking distance of downtown Bonham. Next time we are up that way, we are definitely going to be staying here.

Really nice place, really nice people, and the breakfast was very good. There's a very nice deck seating area at the side of the house and there are Adirondack chairs on a large front porch. They served wine and homemade cookies in the evening.

The house is a real treasure. We enjoyed the homemade breakfast each day and chatting with the Inn keeper. The Inn keeper gave us great advice about restaurants to try in town and neat places to shop. A nice place to stay for the weekend.

I had the pleasure of being a guest at Granny Lou's. The atmosphere was very homey and I felt like I was sitting in the living room of the house I grew up in. Jenniffer was the most gracious hostess and the food was outstanding. When in Bonham, Granny Lou's will be where I will "hang my hat." Thanks, Jenniffer, for a wonderful experience.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and I went looking for a B&B close to Denison. I happened on the website for Granny Lou's and was enchanted. I made a reservation through their site that was responded to swiftly. When we arrived, there was a note on the door in case we got there while they were out and about, but as it stands Jay was inside to welcome us.

The house lived up to the photos and went on to impress us even more. The decor was quaint and every nook and cranny had something interesting to discover. The room was comfortable and yet included the modern things like TV and internet. The next morning Tracy and Jay cooked breakfast for us (delicious) and joined us for conversation. Without a doubt, the most enjoyable stay I have ever experienced. Call and make an appointment.
