For those with insurance coverage, Chiropractic care as well as massage and other physical therapy are often covered under your standard insurance policy. We are participating providers with Anthem/Blue Cross-Blue Shield, AETNA, Cigna, and others, and you can even use your insurance flex-plan or Health Savings Account.

Came in some months ago with what turned out to be lower neck issues manifesting in significantly reduced mobility, terrible pain, and a generally foul mood as a result. Pharmaceuticals didn't help, massages didn't help, but this guy? He makes my bones rattle in all the right ways. He plays your spinal column like a piano. Super friendly staff, the doctor is very knowledgeable and helpful.
We started w/twice a week, and have slowly, successfully moved down to every other week, soon to be once a month. That's the level of improvement I've experienced with Colley Ave chiropractic. Combine his black-magic adjustments with the correct exercises, stretches, posture changes and sleeping habits, and you stop being a 30yo who felt 65 like I did. Thank you Colley Ave Chiropractic, you've done excellent work.

The lady at the front desk that handles calls is super nice, comforting and just overall very pleasant. Getting an appointment was easy and Dr. Ryan was so attentive to the issues of pain I was having in my leg. Ruled out lots of thinga it could have been to pin point what was going on. I highly recommend this place for real relief and truley nice helpful people.

Jocelyn gave one of the best massages I've ever had! I've never felt more loose and stretched in such a long time. I came in with a huge knot on my neck that was interfering with work, and she relieved it with cupping techniques and various stretches and massages! Highly recommend : Thank you so much!

Ashley is very knowledgeable about which muscles to focus on for the type of pain you are having. I have tight hip flexors and some tight core muscles from sitting all day at a computer and from several foot surgeries. The therapist works in conjunction with the chiropractor to come up with focus areas for my massages. My back and hip pain is so much better after my massage and I am given pointers on stretches to do at home. Dr. Rooyakkers and the entire staff are friendly and truly care.

I started seeing Dr. Ryan midway through my pregnancy. Dr. Ryan is always happy to answer my questions and concerns (I tend to ask a lot of questions). The front desk staff are always so accommodating friendly and kind. I never had a problem with scheduling even when I called with short notice. The adjustments especially helped in later pregnancy aches and pains.
My last adjustment was just 12 hours before I went into labor! I really appreciate that they accommodate Tricare patients with a self pay option since chiropractic care is rarely covered. I also purchased a massage package. I've had a few massages with Ashley which all have been amazing. In particular the massage a few days before I went into labor she spent additional time on my neck and jaw, it felt so amazing!
I had no idea I was storing that much tension in my jaw. The massages really helped keep my body relaxed which I like to think helped for a shorter labor. I had such a good experience I plan to continue postpartum. I just had my first postpartum visit and I feel so much relief! I also had him evaluate my newborn who was having some issues with infrequent stooling/gas. One teeny tiny adjustment and that night we had 2 blow out diapers requiring a bath Which made for one happy baby and mom!

Caring, friendly, knowledgeable staff! Dr. Rooyakkers took his time to accurately assess my condition. He did not rush through it and start cracking. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. Most importantly, he educates his patients. He explained what he was doing and why. After the first visit, I am a bit sore (which is normal) but feeling less pain and pressure throughout my back and shoulders.
Huge improvement. The facility was calm and inviting. I felt relaxed even in the waiting area. Very clean! It didn't feel like a doctor's office or a clinic.more like a spa. Thank you! I'll have to try the massage services next time. I'm sure it's just a great! 11 out of 10

Dr. Ryan's adjustments are so affective, I only need to see him once every 3 months. Not only am I saving money, but I feel better under his care than I have with any of the other half-dozen chiropractors I've used over the past 30 years. He's been my only chiropractor for the past 5 years, and I couldn't be happier. Even though I recently moved to the oceanfront, I continue driving 30 minutes to see him.
He's that good. On top of all this, his training in functional neurology (the physical body's impact on brain development and function), in my opinion, places him among the top 1% of chiropractors in Hampton Roads. Dr. Ryan's expertise doesn't disappoint.
