Loved the feel of the Hotel, customer service was excellent, location is perfect and parking was a bonus. I will definitely be staying here again. My room was very clean and I truly enjoyed drinking my coffee in the balcony.

Hotel needs to hire new maintenance people. Exhaust fan in bathroom had a thick build up of lobby and dust covering holes, patches made to walls were uneven and paint bubbling. No security latch on doors. Only deadbolts. Staff was very friendly. Building is historic and beautiful. just needs some love.

Loving this quaint downtown hotel. It certainly is esthetically pleasing. Keisha ensured that we had a wonderful experience at Eo Inn. She was extremely accommodating. Keisha really exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond during our stay. I've stayed at the Eo Inn many times but this time around Keisha made it an unforgettable stay with her professionalism and customer service. We appreciate you! See you again very soon Eo Inn!

First let me say that the 1 star rating has nothing to do with the room. It was great! Upon arrival there was no parking. Had to pay to park across the street. Then we're told we had to download a key app to access our room. Done. Went to open our room and it was occupied by SOMEONE ELSE! Great security.not. Luckily for the occupants of said room we were honest people.

We were offered nothing for the inconvenience of the whole $&*#show. We were told that we were given an upgraded room. Who knows if we were or not because SOMEONE ELSE WAS IN OUR ROOM!

Excellent hotel for the location and price. As someone who was not going to spend a lot of time at our hotel outside of sleeping this was perfect! Our room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked, and it had a keurig coffee machine. It's in a unique 1920's building with cute decor. Definitely a great place to stay within walking distance to everything you want to visit in downtown Orlando.

Probably one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in. Super clean. Staff was really friendly. We had the King balcony room it was very spacious and the bathroom was to die for . The bathtub was HUGE! Also in a great location right next to a beautiful park and in walking distance to a ton of good food. Next time I'm in Orlando I'll definitely be staying here.

Loved this little inn. Super adorable with quick check in and loved the keyless room entry. Our room was very clean and spacious. The retro mini fridge was an awesome design touch. We will be back for sure

Great location and free parking but the room was not good. When I arrived I was told they had no record of my reservation or name because the system was down. I eventually was allowed a room with no explanation. Unfortunately the room I had was not renovated. The head board of the bed was stained. The furniture was beat up/shabby. The bath room floor was in need of repair with broken tiles. The place has a lot of promise but I did not have a good experience.

If you want to sleep, DON'T stay here. Our room was near a common area on the second floor. Our daughter's room was on the third floor on the opposite end of the building. The first night we were here, there was a loud party in the common area in the middle of the evening. We couldn't even hear the TV. The front desk staff was able to take care of it.

The second evening, we went to bed at 9:00. At about 10:00 another party starts up. We contacted the front desk and they asked us if we had approached the other guests - we told them we had but they ignored us. The front desk contacted the manager and was told there was nothing they could do that night. The party moved up to the room above us - now it was like a herd of elephants running around and our daughter couldn't sleep because the party was on her floor.

The front desk staff leaves at 11:00. There are then no staff in the hotel. The manager wouldn't pick up the phone after telling our daughter there was nothing they could do. We finally had to call the police at 12:30 in the morning and got to bed at 1:30 am. Then, the next morning we heard nothing from the management. We had to continue to call so that we could cancel the rest of our reservation and move to another hotel. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE

The staff were so friendly and we would definitely stay again. It was a prefect location and the room was so quaint nothing elaborate, but we loved the bed and breakfast feel to the hotel. The park right outside the hotel was gorgeous and the food was great in the brewery right below the hotel. This is a must stay place if you are visiting Orlando.

Fantastic customer service from the moment I secured my last minute reservation. The hotel itsself was impeccibly clean with comfortable beds. The location is only 2 blocks from Lake Eola. Best hotel experience in years - and I travel often.

Great little spot directly across the street from Lake Eola Park. There is a restaurant pub below the hotel. You can rent scooters across the street too for a reasonable price. This isn't a normal hotel in terms of front desk (not 24/7) but you get a virtual key (open key app) and a psychical key. The virtual entrance key only worked once but worked everytime on our room.

We had a king deluxe (thought it was a balcony room but it wasn't). The room has a king size bed, Kureig, and small fridge. The room is smaller than traditional hotel rooms. There is an ice machine on the 3rd floor in the hallway but there is no longer a hot tub. There is a smoking area on the rooftop. The shower was great, very spacious - loved it. Nice decor and friendly staff. If you're planning a trip for the park, this is the perfect place. Very cozy hotel! We would definitely stay here again!

Me and my wife were at the day building 605, we get lunch at Chico's a lot and park and eat at Eola. I was born and raised here and so was my wife so we love the area so anyone that stays around here should enjoy it as well. P.S. this was sent to me as a question cause I was close, I answered because I knew I could. Hometownselects.com

I was in town for one night for a concert and very glad I chose Eo Inn! I had a great stay, and friendly staff. There is a great little bar/restaurant downstairs, a beautiful park across the street and it was easy to find. The only downside was the fact that there was no water or vending machine available for drinks, and the shower (while nice) was stopped up and water would not drain properly so I ended up standing in several inches of water during my shower. Oh.and someone whispered "hello" to me in my ear while I was in the room alone, but there wasn't actually anyone there! The room was neat, clean and overall, I would definitely stay there again.

We decided to stay here instead of on I-Drive like literally everyone else. The free parking is definitely a perk, the hotel is across the street from Lake Eola and is walking distance to Thornton Park. Kimberly was super welcoming, enthusiastic, and friendly as were the housekeeping staff. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but overall it was spotless and comfortable. Also attached to the hotel is the Persimmon Hollow Brewery

I wanted to like the Eo Inn, but I would agree with another reviewer that it is a motel dressed up like a better hotel. The best thing about the Inn is the free parking, location, and price. The negatives outweigh the positives. Our hotel room did not have working hot water in the sink. When we tried to turn the hot water on, the sink leaked. Housekeeping skipped our room when they were supposed to come.

The room did not have a safety lock or peephole to see who was knocking on the door. The mattresses were very hard. The elevator's Certificate of Operation was expired. The worst and most irredeemable part of this room was that there were dozens of ANTS. When I called down to the front desk to inform them of the ants, no one picked up. Upon walking down to the lobby and informing the person at the front desk, she didn't appear shocked.

She told me that she would move my party, but no other two bed rooms were available. I am not sure why she didn't offer to put us in two one bed rooms. She stated that housekeeping and maintenance had gone home, but that she could spray ant spray in the room. She was very pleasant and welcoming overall, but acted like she was doing us a favor by spraying the ants that were in our hotel room. I would highly recommend paying a little more money for the Embassy Suites on Central Blvd. It will be worth it.

This place was actually perfect for me for the price. It was 30-50% cheaper than comparable options in Downtown Orlando and more central than anything offered on AirBnB. It is in a great location as it is easily walkable to downtown, The Milk District, and Thornton Park and a short Uber from the Baldwin Park area. It is a boutique hotel so if you are looking for a large room then this might not be a great fit for you.

As a few of my pictures show it also has some wear and tear - I point this out not as a complaint but just as reference because I know some people care about such things. But the place was clean and secure. I have read some other people have had issues with the Key App - I got in early so my key wasn't downloaded yet but I call the customer service line and she texted me directions on how to get into the safe that has the physical plastic keys.

The other bonus is it sits right on top of a wonder craft brewery - Persimmon Hollow Brewery - so you have a great beer/wine and food option just downstairs! I did have some minor issues with the TV (the remote didn't work great) and the WiFi (the signal was weak and it didn't appear to have enough bandwidth to stream). But other than that it was a great stay - I would recommend to any single traveler or couple looking for an affordable stay right off Lake Eola.

This was not a good experience. There were 2 used condoms and about 8 used gloves scattered across the parking lot. As we were coming through the lobby a man riding a scooter - in the lobby- zipped around us to get to the elevator first. He then rode his scooter into the elevator and took it up.? My party was seated in a lounge area when we were approached by a man who was clearly under the influence of something.

He attempted to make conversation with us but he was. well. You know. Uncomfortable. He seemed pretty harmless? I understand that they now have some "extended stay" guests - so I think what was once a boutique/spa hotel is more of a flop house. There is NO management on site at night - so you will be on your own! Good luck with that! I'm sure you can find something better.

YOU'RE PAYING FOR LOCATION! It's not quite your 3-4-5 Star Hotel but if you're looking for a place to rest after a long day, this is a great option. The location is the best in my opinion! It's right on the edge of downtown, closer to to residential neighborhoods but less than a few blocks to the heart of downtown. I felt safe in this area.

Also -- FREE PARKING! Can't beat that if you're staying in downtown! I took a peak inside one of the other rooms and noticed that my room was a bit outdated compared to it. My room still had the carpet but updated bathroom/shower. There was a mildew smell that I wasn't too fond of but I was out the whole day and came back to sleep. The check-in process was kinda weird too.

I showed up to a few people in line looking in a mailbox for their keys. Luckily, I asked one of the person what they were doing and my name was in the box with my room key. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable place to stay; this is not a bad option. I've experienced better but for the price point, location, and free parking -- I'll take it for a one night stay. If you're looking to spend 2+ nights, I would look elsewhere for comfort.

We waited 15 minutes at the lobby. No front desk, no signs, nothing at all. Then someone came in out of nowhere and started checking in people ( they send an email saying your keys will be in a box but it was never there) If this is their first interaction with the guest, you can imagine the rest Avoid headaches and stay somewhere else

End of COVID review here: DO NOT STAY IN THE STANDARD ROOM HERE. We paid slightly over $80 for one night king bed. I've stayed in plenty of $50/night motels and less expensive hotel options, but this one took the cake on a horrible night. The hotel lobby was not open to visitors until check-in, you have to wait in your car or until someone is there to let you in to the building by dropping a key card outside in a box.

At 3PM check-In, the front desk attendant literally told my friend that "she hoped our room was clean" upon giving us the key. Our room was right over the brewery next door and there was music shaking the floor all night, even past their closing time. The white bed sheets had several stains on them, but thankfully the staff nicely agreed to change them out for some clean ones.

The end tables were basically falling apart with the handle coming off of one of them. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. There were some questionable white stains on the headboard of the bed in plain site. Our bathroom was shower only, but several parts of the tile flooring would sink down when you walked over it as if the floor could potentially fall through. Pros - location of hotel is great, there was a mini fridge, plenty of towels, makeup remover and soap. Cons - basically everything else.

Due to my love of history in this building, and the immense amount of potential I know is there, I really wanted to give this place another try. I did enjoy my stay more this time! Not to be rude, but if I'm honest, It was nice to be there in this beautiful building, minus the negative energy of the grumpy older desk woman whom I've had no positive interaction with.

When you are made to feel rushed when inquiring on the history, it just really takes the air out of visiting a historical property. I was a little put off, and that is why I did not give them four stars, when I called. The woman who answered the phone made it seem initially as if I could not check in, and it was like 9:45pm. They don't close until midnight according to their website and Yelp.

When I let her know plate leave that I was made aware through reading reviews from prior yelp visitors, they were able to check in via a late check in policy through a lockbox, She backtracked a bit, then said she guesses that she could send a hotel employee down there to put a key in the box. Our room was nice, my son was very excited that it had a Roku TV.

Everything seemed pretty tidy, not overtly sanitized or anything, but tidy. The bed and the pillows in this room though, I must say, the pillows are very in need of replacing, kind of flat, absolutely nothing as to what she would expect a nice Inn. The blankets could be a bit more fluffy and inviting, maybe that's just a personal preference, but my opinion.

I hope within my next visit, as I'm sure I'll stay at this beautiful property again, that I'm able to give this place a full five stars. I know they have it in them, I really do.

Definitely did a great job of hosting us in the middle of a pandemic. I would definitely stay in the room where you have access to the balcony, which is simply breathtaking. I also fell in love with the bathtub, which is something I dream about now. The bed alone will have you wishing you never left it. This Boutique Hotel is in the perfect location, which is situated across Lake Eola. Definitely 5 starts for taking the necessary precautions, during such a fragile time in our society.

This is a pretty cool location. I don't review hotels but I came here for an outdoors Sound Healing event, and even though the location is prime and the space is beautiful, they weren't prepared for some good old Florida rain water and we ended up in a weird little room, which made the experience less enjoyable and less relaxing. But the ability to improvise gets props, and like I said, the place is really cool, has many spaces for relaxation, and it's very central.

A fantastic inn by the beautiful downtown Orlando district and gorgeous Lake Eola. The staff were lovely and very sweet and Barry in particular helped me settle into my room early for an upcoming event. The queen room was perfect and sitting on the balcony was a relaxing way to end the day. I highly recommend the Eo Inn because of its quality rooms and reasonable price point (I did a lot of searching for a good rate!)

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed in the EO. Although very clean and I felt very safe, the bed was uncomfortable, (old), pillows were uncomfortable the sink and vanity was "camper style" small and the shower was pitiful. I was so uncomfortable and had a hard time sleeping I ended up leaving my reservation early to stay at the Alfond Inn which was exceptional. Ended up spending twice as much but was well worth the hotel experience I got at the Alfond Inn. EO, please replace your beds and provide a sleeping experience that customers will relish. In a town with more than enough hotel rooms to choose from, you can try harder.

High rates, nice online web presence. The rooms: old furniture which mostly appears to be refurbished or well used. Bathroom tile with aged, crummy grout, dated finishings. The beds are soft, carpets dirty, and the box springs exposed. One bed was literally on WOODEN BLOCKS and the headboard flexed against the wall. "Balconies" are frequently shared with another room with a shower curtain between them. TVs have old remotes with covers missing and barely work. The TVs also are finicky. Booked it for 2 nights. Bailed on the second night and just ate the $ because of the filth. Don't. Do. It.

We recently stayed at this hotel. The sink in the bathroom did not drain and we mentioned it three times to be fixed over three days. never happened. The security lock on our door did not work mentioned that did. No fix. The rooms open on to a shared verandah which made it very loud at night with other guests up late partying. The staff at the reception desk was definitely not helpful nor were they interested in customer service. I would only stay here again if I was desperate!

Ok. where to begin. I stayed here one night checked in late around 11pm. Apparently they close at midnight so if you have a late arrival, better book somewhere else. The room is ok, a/c was cold, ceiling fan was a nice touch which you don't find in many hotels, bed was ok but pillows were pretty flat. It was fine for me as only needed a few hours of shut eye.

All that being said. I'm not very picky when it comes to hotels except for one thing. cleanliness. This is by far the dirtiest hotel I've stayed in, and I've stayed in some pretty low key hostels. If a bunch of college age travelers using shared bath facilities can keep a cleaner facility than this place, than it comes down to poor and careless management.

There was mildew in the shower, dust and hair on bedside my table, visible dust/dirt on the carpet, crusty stains, etc. The lady at the desk was very friendly, but judging by others with previous posts commenting on the same (which I should have read first) they don't seem to take cleaning/upkeep very seriously. Some simple Lysol, pledge, and a vacuum cleaner could solve some of it.

A coat of paint or two wouldn't hurt but that part really doesn't bother me. Anyhow, I will not be staying here again, which is unfortunate as location is great and this hotel has a lot of potential.

My husband and I were in town for one night (concert). We choose The Eo Inn for it's favorable reviews and location. Upon arrival we had the best welcome from Chad at the front desk who upgraded our room for a minimal fee. He made sure we had an optimal stay and every detail was taken care of. The EO Inn was definitely a unique and romantic lodging experience. We will return.

My husband and I chose this boutique hotel for the price and location. Our expectations were to have a decent place to sleep for the night. Boy weren't we surprised! We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful employee. I believe his name was Chad. The lobby is small but clean and offers free bottled water and an assortment of free coffees via a Keurig.

Upon arriving in our room, 308, we were floored. It was well decorated, very clean, has a very large balcony, and a bathroom to die for. In the center is a very large bathtub big enough for two large people. On either side are sinks, one with a swing out magnifying makeup mirror so amazing that i'm trying to find the same one for my home! Oh, and the view for the bathroom is beautiful too! This will now be our home away from home whenever we are in Orlando. Actually, in trying to come up with an excuse to go back!

Had a great stay here about a month ago. This is within a few seconds walking distance from Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando. Depending on which room you're staying at, you can see the park from there. Attached to the building yet technically separate is a Panera bread at ground level on the opposite end. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful with any information that you need.

The rooms are cozy and kept up nicely. This inn has minimal amenities which include a second level deck with seating and a Jacuzzi. On the interior of the same level are plenty of comfy couch seating for hanging out. coffee and water is offered as a complementary service on the lobby level. Considering the location, I think that's enough amenities since the main goal is to stay there, venture out, and explore the town. I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Why 3 stars? Because it was centralized and affordable. --- --- --- I'm very low maintenance about hotels. I have never once taken a trip somewhere, and spent more than the minimum amount of time in my room. Why would I do that? A hotel is simply a place to shower and sleep, and I always opt for budget over luxury. And if you're looking to stay in Downtown Orlando on a budget, this is your place. However, if any of the notes below are deal breakers for you, you might want to look elsewhere: -With the window/unit A/C running, the rooms feels kind of grossly stale.

The sheets are almost kind of sticky due to the humidity. -I really dislike it when shower glass does not fully enclose you in the shower. It doesn't allow the heat to be trapped in, and water spills out all over the floor. Both of these things happened here. -The bathroom just seemed to be in need of a little maintenance - some paint would go a long way to cover up some of the blemishes.

I saw a few different rooms at this hotel and they all shared this common issue. -A mini-fridge is always nice when staying somewhere for several days, but our rooms lacked this. Outside of that, as I said, this hotel was a nice bang for the buck. The staff was very friendly, and I really enjoyed the location being near a giant park, downtown, and many nearby restaurants.

After staying four nights at The Eo Inn, I thought the rooms and building itself fell somewhere between one to three stars, but the service around four. My take: ***** I. ROOMS The first room, which resided on the second floor, had a list of major problems. The outlets didn't work, it had several random un-painted patches wall, and worst of all fecal matter on the upper insides of the toilet rim that I saw when laying down on my stomach on the bed.

So I called the front office and asked for a room change. They obliged, without any problems, and provided me a key to another room upstairs. My new room felt considerably cleaner, and there were no stains on the toilet. (More on the bathroom later.) I thought it was kind of weird, though, that there was a slight hole around the air conditioner. That needs to be patched up, so cold air doesn't leak out of the room.

The bedroom also came with a shelf/ TV stand/ desk thing that I used for work. It was fine. This room's outlets still didn't work for me. II. BED I'm not exactly sure what happened to the right side of the mattress, but it was completely broken. And I didn't want to be an jerk and call the front office, again, about relocating to another room so I sucked it up and slept on the left side of the bed for four nights.

To be fair, the left side of the bed was fine. III. BATHROOM As I mentioned before, the toilet was clean. What I don't understand is that the bathroom only had half of shower glass pane-thing (not door), so water splashed all over the ground. And the shower knob resided on the opposite side of the shower head. Every time I wanted to adjust the temp, I had to reach behind me to do so. lol. Ridiculous. IV. SERVICE The folks were super nice, and they're probably the highlight of the trip. V. OTHER TIDBITS -Supposedly there was a hot tub, but it was covered the entire time we were there. -One side of the building is lucky enough to have a long balcony.

The only problem is that only one light fixture works. -There are shower curtains that allow you to have a little privacy on the balcony. VI. OVERALLL Despite the awesome location adjacent to Downtown and Lake Eola, I really think this establishment desperately needs a hardcore remodel before I ever return.
