Day Escape

Walked out of there today with the worst haircut of my life from the rudest stylist I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. My bangs are butchered. Save yourself the trouble and if you value your style, avoid this salon.

I received a deep tissue massage from Kristen and it was fantastic. One hour felt like two. She is a knowledgeable and skilled therapist and she creates a very relaxing space. I highly recommend booking a massage with Kristen.

I've tried so many places. My haircut has always gotten messed up by every place such as buzz cuts, beauty salons etc. I came in today and got my hair cut by Jessica and she's transformed my hair. I can confidently say that my hair has never looked this cut. She has some serious skills. She also.is super funny aswell. 10/10 Jessica. Thank you I'm finally confident

Super clean, relaxing environment. Private room for pedicure was nice. Better value for services provided than what I have had at other places. I'm definitely scheduling again!

My massage therapist was snotty & uninformative. She made my first full body massage very uncomfortable. I don't remember her name, but will not be returning for any services again. Will take my business elsewhere.

Currently 29 weeks pregnant, I got the deluxe pedicure and I must say best experience I've ever had. The messaging chair was phenomenal! Danielle did my pedicure she was so very nice and really took her time paying attention to the small details! She did an amazing job! She actually specializes in hair! I highly recommend her for any of your needs!

I saw Jessica Rex to fix what another had done to my hair. She talked me through the process and was so helpful and professional and my hair looks and feels amazing. She took her time and worked diligently to make my hair look great! The salon is beautiful and everyone was so nice and I definitely 100% found my new salon home

My first time walking into this salon, I was amazed. It is SO cute and clean, such friendly and welcoming staff and great products! I was able to get pampered head to toe by the AMAZING Jessica and then grab some adorable boutique items after. I am one very happy gal every time walking out of there.

Kristen gave me an amazing deep tissue massage. Best I've ever had. And she barely spoke to me, which I preferred. Very professional and I felt great afterwards!

Had the hour long couples massage done by Kirsten and Heather. They were both amazing! My husband and I walk out of there feeling totally relaxed. No complaints!

Came here to get a haircut/color for the first time in a WHILE. Showed Brittany a couple pictures for inspiration and she killed it. Better than I even expected! Highly recommend :

I would probably give this zero if that was an option. When you arrive they take you to a sitting area to fill out paperwork then show you the changing room where you have a locker to put your clothes and other stuff in. They give you a rope and flip-flops which I felt a little weird about since I don't like wearing shoes that other people have worn but they assured me that they disinfect them in between each person.

So the room was cold, the masseuse had freezing cold hands, and the massage oil is way too greasy. I had my massage 3 hours ago and I still feel greasy and that is after trying to wipe it off with a paper towel. I get a lot of massages and this was supposed to be deep tissue but it wasn't even close to deep tissue! Part way through the massage she asked how the pressure was and I said I would like it stronger, but she didn't change a thing. She focused the majority of her time on my upper back but that didn't include shoulders or neck. It just was a real disappointment for a massage on vacation.

Treated myself to a massage and hair cut/style. Massage: Tonia was very good and catered the massage to exactly what I needed. She definitely works out knots! The bed was heated and the room was nicely lit. I felt so relaxed and pampered after the massage. I frequently get massages (2-3 times a month) all over the country and this one ranks as a very relaxing one! Hair: Rosio did a fabulous job with my hair.

She genuinely loves cutting and styling hair. I can't remember the last time a stylist took that detailed care of my hair as she cut and styled it. I felt beautiful when I left! Also love the smell of the hairspray she used! I didn't buy any but I will next time I'm there!

I haven't had many massages in the past, but from what I can tell, this was a good spot to go in the area. I used a gift certificate this weekend that I have had for awhile and was happy with my experience. My only thought, the room could have been warmer. I felt a little cold, but otherwise a most pleasant and relaxing endeavor. I will be back when the body calls and will probably consider trying some other services.

My husband and I recently tried out Day Escape for a couples message and had mixed thoughts about our experience. The massage therapists did a good job but seemed more deep-tissue focused than relaxation-focused. If you're looking for a good deep-tissue massage that wouldn't be an issue, and even though I had to tough it out a bit I am glad I didn't have her change the pressure because my upper back feels much better than it did pre-massage.

The facilities/atmosphere are what brings it down to 3 stars. The music in the room was quite loud and I thought about saying something, but decided not to. About ten minutes later I realized why it was so loud; we could hear everything everyone was talking about throughout the building (there's a hair salon at one end). It was difficult to enjoy our massages with all the chattering in the background, most of which was even louder than the music.

There were also some sort of machines that would turn off and on every 5 minutes or so that were very loud (tanning beds? I'm not sure). Finally, the sheets on the tables were also very scratchy and uncomfortable. If they could work on the sound proofing and get new sheets, I'd be back because the quality of the service was very good.
