Would leave zero stars if possible. The person taking our reservation copied our credit card number wrong and then canceled our reservation. We were traveling and unable to call back. Such greed that there was such a need to fill this spot. They tried to claim they called twice, but this is not true. Thanks for ruining something we were looking forward to this weekend! Not what I would expect from a place that looks to have people relax.

I visit Cape May every summer as it is a few hours away so we normally do a weekend trip here. I came down for a trip with my best friend during his birthday month & decided to surprise him with a spa day. We were greeted politely and helped right away to our massage room and were given robes to feel fancy in (lol) I had booked a couples massage which was in a room with a jacuzzi bath which we got to use as apart of the package. it was SO nice.

Once our jacuzzi time was up, our massages began and it was one of the best massages I've ever had! When the massage was over. We were gifted a plate of fresh fruit, chocolates and a glass of refreshing bubbly. I can't wait to come back!

The staff takes the time to remember you and your unique needs. I recommend starting with a soak in one of their baths then a Himalayan salt rock massage. Myra gives incredible facials!

Amazing couples massage today! Perfect pressure and great techniques. We've had many massages and these were some of the best we've had! My therapist was Brenda and my husband had Yari. Thank you Cape May Day Spa we needed this desperately!

Leslie and all the staff at Cape May Day Spa are always incredible. Extremely professional and clearly know their line of work. The atmosphere is always so calming and relaxing and the attention to detail is always top notch. Have gone to many spas around the globe and Cape May still remains our top spot. They have clients for life. Thank you as always

I don't know where to begin. The overall aesthetic of the spa was incredibly relaxing and honestly what we have been looking for. From the time we walked in, the staff was extremely friendly and very professional. and we didn't feel overwhelmed. My wife and I received massages and pedicures. The masseuses followed our requests perfectly and we walked away feeling great.

And same goes for the pedicures. I don't ever have these done, but I felt comfortable and the conversation was much appreciated. If you are in Cape May, I highly recommend checking out their website and signing up for whatever fits your need. I'm looking forward to our next visit!

I was given a gift of a full day of spa treatment and was amazed by how great it was! I had the massage, sea salt scrub, facial, manicure and pedicure and everyone was extremely professional and friendly. I've had several massages at other places before, and this was the best I ever had. I highly recommend the sea salt scrub and facial as well- my skin has never been smoother!

My husband and I went here for a couples head to toe package and I also got a manicure. They were very friendly and nice but it definitely was not as luxurious as I thought it would be for the price. The massage was fine, but I was unhappy with my french manicure which was wobbly and blotchy. My toes, which were a solid color were also blotchy and uneven.

I thought we might get a pot of tea or something but it was just in a paper cup. They didn't give us our chocolates until we left and it was only for squares of chocolate. I thought it might at least be a nice little box for how much we paid. I would not go back to get my nails done, but I might go back and try a deep tissue massage.

This is the best acrylic mani and pedi I have had. I am going on week 2 and my nails haven't chipped. Pictures are of the day I had my nails done and 10 days later. There was ample free parking in the neighborhood. The staff was genuine and friendly. I was offered numerous chai teas. The establishment was cozy, calm and clean!

My husband and I were so relaxed we didn't want to move. It was a peaceful experience. Our facials and massages were sublime. Next time we are in Cape May, we will go back!

My husband and I went for massages today and the service was truly amazing! From Kat who booked our appointments to Melody, our deep tissue massage therapist, it was an awesome experience. The spa was very relaxing and made us feel very comfortable with social distancing protocols. Highly recommend a visit to the spa for a relaxing and therapeutic experience!

The only reason I'm giving one star is because the front desk lady is NASTY AND MEAN the woman who did my facial was a very nice talkative lady and the facial felt good. but the woman at the front desk needs to learn how to treat customers better.

The spa was just ok. I've been to many spas that cost just as much and for the money it was not worth it. The service was good for my facial but the overall experience was not. I go to the spa to relax not feel rushed. I felt like I was herded from place to place. When my treatment finished I needed to use the bathroom but there was a line so I was forced to use the dressing room to change since that was open at the time.

As I said I go to the spa to relax and relieve my stress not add to it. I felt stressed. The place is small so I get logistically why they have to run things this way but I was not a fan especially for the expensive price.

I had a bamboo massage with Taylor and she was very good. She prepared me by letting me know that it's a very intense massage, and because of the barrier of the bamboo, she wanted to make sure that I communicate to her if it's too much to handle. Overall, she was very good. She focused on my shoulders and back, and really got into my knots. It's not a relaxing massage, but it was a massage that I needed the most especially for achy and tight muscles. I would definitely come here again.

I had a 50 min pedicure. She let me soak for 10, then spent about 10 mins actually doing my toes. Then another 7ish to paint. No massage, which let's face it, is the best part. I was out of the chair within half hour (27 mins) then sat to dry for 15 and left early. I had used Debbie the very first time I went and she was wonderful. If I go back I'll make sure to have Debbie.

I've had a few spa pedicures here and have always enjoyed them. The last one was unfortunately disappointing. I was 20 mins in the chair, (10 mins on painting) then 15 mins to dry. Practically no time was taken on massage/scrub/lotion. Maybe 30 seconds each foot/leg. I was disappointed but how do you say something? Staff was very nice and accommodating.

I've been going to Cape May Day Spa since it opened, have enjoyed every visit - staff is great, prices are reasonable, ambiance spot on. Today I had THE BEST massage I've ever had here. Deep tissue with Liz. Don't walk, RUN to book her!

I received a gift certificate for the spa and decided to use it for a treatment a few weeks before my wedding. I received a facial for the first time and did not know what to expect. The facial included several lotions applied, aromatherapy, steam therapy and a foot and back/arm massage. I think the massage was the best part. I did enjoy the facial overall, however, I would never pay the amount for what I received if I didn't have a gift card.

I did not feel that after my treatment my face felt really any different. The most disappointing part about the spa was the front desk staff. I did not think they were friendly and they did not make you feel welcome to their facility. That is most of my reason for such a low rating. Customer service goes a long way.

My mom and I went for some relaxation during our girls weekend before my wedding. I saw Cathy for a hot stone massage and foot reflexology and it was absolutely amazing! Cathy's energy was warm and relaxing and she did an absolutely incredible job! I feel spoiled now; I don't think I'll ever do a massage without the hot stones! I will definitely be back to Cathy the next time I'm down here looking for a relaxing massage.

I was there last weekend for a mani/pedi. And loved my experience. Everything that I read on their website ahesd of time was true. The two ladies were friendly, professional and made it very relaxing. I had also been to cape may day spa 3 years ago after my husband proposed, he set up a massage and manicure for me - and again loved the service! Whenever we are in cape may and I need a relaxing day I would definitely come here!

I've been to the Cape May Day Spa several times for massages and facials. I've always had an amazing experience and left feeling amazing & relaxed. Today I had a massage with Hope and she was extraordinary. She was very polite and professional and asked me a bunch of questions to make sure she could accommodate me. Definitely ask for Hope when you come in for a massage!

I was pleased with the fact that I was able to choose an aromatherapy to add to my session, it was a nice touch! The spa is dimly lit with soft music playing throughout. It's instantly relaxing. Upon completion of your service you are led to a relaxing lobby room where you can have tea or water and prepare to again face the real world : I would totally recommend the Cape May Day Spa, and if your budget allows it try the Victorian Retreat option!

I suppose it really depends on what you're looking for. As for me and all eight of the people I brought with me to spend some time relaxing before my wedding, we were extremely disappointed. First, we were the only people in there that morning and we were all excited to see each other after traveling to Cape May from all over the country, but were immediately told to HUSH. Second, the manicurists refused to do one of my bridesmaid's manicure because she had some old glue on her nails.

She literally said, "Oh, I'm not doing that." But because of their policy, we had to PAY for a manicure that we DIDN'T GET, and not only that, they would not let us let another woman take the open spot. After that mishap, all the women working there were rude and snippy to us. Third, everyone's nails except for mine chipped either the same day or the next day. Classy. Fourth, the woman doing my pedicure left dirt in the sides of my toenails. Yeah, gross that it was there, but gross that you didn't clean it out.

Maybe they're not into doing manis and pedis, maybe they prefer massages, etc. But if you're the only place in Cape May that has more than one pedicure chair and manicure table, what do you expect? No one wants to wait for nine people to get their wedding nails done one at a time. Two stars instead of one because they gave us cheese cubes.

For a resort town this is a poor excuse for a day spa. The immediate presentation of the front desk and retail area are old and dated. They waiting area was not relaxing nor very big. There were 4 of us receiving services and a lot of money being spent. The essentials oils they have you select in the beginning never came into play once I entered the massage room.

The service providers were all very nice in personality, but the level of relaxation and expertise in massage was just not there. It was more of a rub down then anything else. Entirely too much money for the quality of work they're putting out. The Chai Tea was nice afterwards, that was the best part of the experience.

One more experience that confirms you can't get a great massage at a pricey resort. The Cape May Day Spa is really nice inside - soft, indirect lighting, comfortable furniture, polite, friendly staff. I went there for a 50-minute massage that was around $150 bucks. I explained to my massage therapist that my back was really sore between my shoulder blades, so I asked her to spend our entire time above my waist and focused on that area.

She seemed mildly annoyed that I was ("you want me to do what?") trying to direct her, but she said ok. I was really clear that I wanted just as much of a deep tissue massage as she could give me. She proceeded to spend the first 10 minutes of the massage (20% of our time) massaging my scalp, and then did a bunch of other worthless stuff before finally getting down to work on the part of my back that needed it.

Once she finally got there it turns out she is a really skilled therapist and gave a nice massage. But it's clear her goal was to spend as little time actually doing hard work on my back as possible, so I'd guess she spent maybe 10 minutes working the part of my back I told her needed attention. Classic way for a therapist to avoid working too hard. I'm giving 3 stars rather than less because it is a really nice facility, and I could tell the therapist is skilled. But this place is in business due to its location and accoutrement, not because they give great massages.
