Susan Cormier and Bekah Peters have been running Body Wisdom Massage Therapy since 2009. Amanda Peura and Jessica Frost founded Body Wisdom in 2002. Built on a foundation of uplifting, loving and caring energy, Body Wisdom has positively impacted many clients in Dexter and surrounding communities. We look forward to providing our holistic form of healthcare to all who walk through our door. We're committed to upholding the highest standards of our profession.
Our therapeutic massages are conducted in private rooms on professional massage tables. Massages vary from therapist to therapist as each has a unique approach to their healing touch. We use a simple online scheduling service that lets you pick the therapist and time of your appointment. It even reminds you via email the day before your massage.
Begin with your choice of one of our invigorating moisturizing scrubs. Your skin is fully exfoliated and the product is removed with warm steamed towels. Then melt away with a one hour custom massage while your skin soaks up either Lemon, Lavender or Thieves Young Living Essential oils. A great way to keep your skin healthy and glowing.
Yes, all our sessions are by appointment only, we do not take walk-ins. We sometimes have same day appointments and you can ask to be put on our waitlist for a certain day if our day is already booked. Our Migun therapy massage table is booked through our online schedulicity system or you can call in during our receptionist hours and can usually get a same day appt.

Body Wisdom is great! Everything from booking, the massage, to checkout. Very nice people. I got the BEST massage ever from Jen. She was clearly very knowledgeable and helped my painful areas feel so much better and my body in whole feel great and refreshed. I definitely won't be going anywhere else.

Amanda was amazing. She is very consistant with pressure for the swedish massage. Rythmic and what was very wonderful is she is quiet. Being a relaxation massage she only engaged when spoken to and to me this is very important and relaxing. The room was wonderfully warm and the music was perfect and reflective. I have had many massages and I was so impressed I booked the next four massages. The reception is very welcoming and the $10 price reduction benefit of booking same day for the next massage is very generous.

I have chronic back and neck pain. I have done prescription medication, chiropractic and many other treatments. At one point I thought I would have to retire from my physically demanding job that I love. The pain has been so bad for so many years I almost became accustomed to it. After a few massage therapy I have been feeling GREAT. The sharp annoying pain I have had for years is gone. I highly recommend this place to anyone in pain. My whole family enjoys going to body wisdom. My wife has had massages for both of her pregnancies. My mom called me today to make an appointment. I gave her the number to call. Their staff is friendly and great at what they do. The rooms are private, calming and serve anybody type. I enjoy Melinda's knowledge of the body and her continuing education into her field.
As for their cancellation policies, please be aware they are a small business and lose time & money if you don't show up for your appointment. How else are they suppose to get you relaxed and schedule the next appointment : D
