This was my second visit. I got massage by Latavia and it was fantastic. I love the professionalism and atmosphere. I will definitely recommend those who want to relax to come here.

This place is a hidden gem. I love the setup and really enjoyed my experience. The recommended spicy chicken was delicious. My masseuse Gloria was great. She loves what she does and makes sure her clients feel comfortableDefinitely would return for service/experience.

This was a gift for my mom and she was so happy with her experience! She loved her massage, the education she received about the massage, she had a lovely time talking with the bar tender. She loved it, and now I want to book again as a present for my dad.

The price is ridiculously high and it was really nothing there that was worth that price. The food was ok and the drinks were whack. I've been to other spas and paid less and got more bank for my buck.

The massage therapists were great and the customer service from everyone was amazing. I went for a couples massage and we'll definitely be going back.

The entrance is lost under scaffolds, and the smell of urine near the entrance is uninviting and horrible at the exit. Lockers were not all working properly and decor throughout the facility was extremely outdated. Service at the bar was pretty slow to nonexistent. The menu is lacking healthier, small portion options. As a number of spas are now available this spa was completely underwhelming. For the spa options available this facility is overpriced. No need to return.

I enjoyed everything. one of my friends had to wait a long time to get her massage which is the only reason I didn't give it a 10

I had a great time visiting this place with my friends. I started with a nice deep tissue massage, then relaxed at the hot rub, steam room and saunas after. The massage was pretty good, and the price was also great. The massage included access to the facilities. This is where I think it might fall a bit short. While the hot tub and steam/saunas where great, the place is a bit small.

We went early and thankfully there wasn't much people so it was ok. I just wish the hot tub was either bigger or that they had another one. Other than that, the place was great. Food was nothing special, but still pretty good, and the bartender/server was also nice and helpful. I will definitely be going again soon!

It was good just wish they could of given me more of a deep tissue massage. Places very peaceful clean and tranquil. I don't like that you have to provide a covid-19 test before you won't go in though.

MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET COVID IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO GO TO THIS SALON! OTHERWISE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY JUST LIKE HOW THEY STOLE MINE! I still haven't received refund of the party tickets I was supposed to go to a month ago because I got covid. The business owner (Terrance) acts like he or she is so understanding when responding to reviews but don't actually do anything to help!

I called the manager and he was soo rude! He was not understanding! I got two tickets for entry and rented two robes. They gave me a refund for the robes but not the tickets. The manager said the policy said no refund but then how come you refunded me for the robes (which was around $50) but never refunded me for the tickets ($141)! They just wanted to keep whatever is more! All ((respectful)) businesses give a refund for covid but this business is not!

This review is for the woman manager on duty at Body by Brooklyn on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at10am. I arrived for my appointment at approximately 9:45am. I'm met with a welcome from the receptionist with the manager standing next to her. I'm given a robe from the manager. I go into the women's locker room and I notice something red in the sink.

I see a used tissue on the sink. With these 2 things I pull a can of disinfectant out of my bag and begin to spray. I take a tissue to wipe down the bench by the lockers and it gets stuck on a sticky substance. At that point I go back to the front desk to share with them that the locker room probably has not been addressed since I'm seeing all of this.

The manager jumps in and insists that the they had cleaned the women's room. I ask her to come with me to witness what I was seeing. She reluctantly came and saw it for herself. I go to take a shower before my massage. In the shower there is a wrapper. In the next shower there is a razor wrapper, ugh! I take a shower, get a magnificent hour long massage, and come back to my locker and NOTHING has been addressed.

I was in there for an hour and nothing? During COVID you're just going to NOT clean obvious areas? I put on my bathing suit to get into the jacuzzi and the wet lounge has a sign on it. Yes it's closed. The manager was standing there when I walked in and she nor the receptionist informed me of this pertinent fact. I was livid. The receptionist apologized profusely, the "manager" was out of sight.

The manager managed to do nothing to have the space sanitized. And had an unpleasant attitude. I've come her several times and it is a really nice spot in my opinion but but not this day. 4/12/22 was disgusting thanks to the person in charge that day.

I booked a 90 minutes massage and a 60 minutes facial. How disappointing. Although the person was nice, her message skills was horrible. I felt worse at the end of the massage than I did before it started. The facial was half done. There was a face cloth covering the top half of my face during the entire facial. I had half a facial. I didn't get to explore the whole facility.

All of the negative reviews here are true! I still took the chance to visit this establishment despite the poor commentary. These people do not care about their guests and do not work with you despite any negligence found on their part. Customers should always be a priority and Jasmine and Tony have lost sight of that. For anyone willing to spend their hard earned money here, good luck!

Try Bathhouse instead, the experience is worth it. People should always be valued as human beings wherever they go and this place have proven otherwise. If you value your peace, save yourself the trauma and go elsewhere. You've been advised.

I celebrated my 48th Birthday at Body of Brooklyn. The lounge, Cabana, food, massage, facial, wet lounge, customer service was amazing. I had such an amazing time celebrating my birthday. Thank so much Body By Brooklyn for making my birthday a success.

Not a good experience at all, some staff is nice, my message therapist was late not a good look. This place needs to be more Spa-ish. I had to wait to get service for food although my food order was taken, a few minutes later I was told the restaurant was closed and the place that they use for food would open again in a hour. Had to wait around the bar in the hopes of seeing someone there for a drink.

My massage therapist was not gentle at all alot too rough, some parts of my body now are still sore NO BUENO! When I checked out the bartender was the one that checked me out WHAT! Don't waste your time!

This is for one of their parties, I haven't been during the day. The party was pretty fun! DJ played a nice mix of Caribbean and the classics. It wasn't too packed so you could actually walk around or dance without bumping into a million people, but it was also full enough that it didn't feel dead. Drinks were pretty good, but the bartenders kept making up prices that made no sense.

First round, $20 for a vodka soda and a rum punch. Second round, $24 for a vodka soda and rum punch. Third round, $23 for a rum punch. something didn't quite add up. And when we asked, he gave us a hard time. Having said that, you can't let a bartender ruin the whole experience, so I won't let it spoil this review. I definitely recommend going to one of these spa nights. I also recommend hitting the sauna followed by a dip in the ice pool!

Everything was so enjoyable. The New York vibe is always on point. The beach party at night was definitely different for a spa. grown folks vibe

I love this place! Definitely made my top favorite spot to relax in brooklyn. I got the body stretch massage and it was amazing, i feel rejuvenated! I love the lady I had her name is Anchalee. She has gifted hands. Definitely recommend and i'm coming back here

Went to bodybybrooklyn with my besties and I have been there in over 10 years. We went on a Monday so actually nobody was there. Massage was GREAT. However, the ambiance needs some updating especially the locker rooms. Doesn't feel Spa-ish! The blue recycle bags in the bins is not appealing! The wet room was nice. Really liked it. Now as far as the bartender.

He either did not know how to make drinks ( long Islam) or he had to ask permission to make certain type of drinks on a Monday. Other than that, it was a cool spot. Just need some updating.

Report this place to the attorney general for illegally issuing gift certificates that expire in 1 year and not honoring valid gift certificates. This place is running a scam. They sold my mother in law a gift certificate for $150 which she gave to me February 2020 right before the pandemic started. Obviously it was not legal to get a massage during most if not all of the following year.

When things started to open back up after the pandemic I called them to confirm they would still honor the gift certificate. It says it expires in one year but issuing a gift certificate that expires in 1 year is not legal under federal or state law (I am an attorney and researched this) and you'd think basic customer service practices would allow an exception anyway since they were closed due to a pandemic most of this time.

Multiple employees there told me they would not honor the gift certificate, essentially stealing $150 from us. I was told someone would call me to discuss and nobody ever did. I sent emails and called many times. I will not be supporting this business anymore and I will be reporting them to the attorney general. I recommend you do the same. I see other reviewers also complaining that their gift certificate was not honored. If enough people report them maybe they will end this illegal business practice.

I had a great experience here! My boyfriend scheduled a hot stone couples massage for 12pm on a Saturday, and too my surprise we had the spa too ourselves. I highly recommend you come here early to enjoy the spa facilities before the crowd comes. More people did not arrive til after 2pm, so we were able to enjoy our massages and the wet area /saunas by ourselves.

The staff were super friendly and professional. The ladies locker room and bathroom was clean and spacious. I did not try their food but received a complimentary drink for my birthday which was a nice treat. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

My bridesmaids and I came here as the start of my night out for the bachelorette party. The spa experience was divine. I absolutely loved my massage therapist and we were offered champagne on the house. The facility is clean, neat and well taken care of. I would definitely return to this spa again.

The V.I.P Suite was well worth the price. An hour alone time. A jacuzzi, a bottle of champagne and food included.

Late post - Celebrated a friends birthday here, The booking process was organized and detailed. We arrived for a day filled with relaxation and fun and that is what we experienced. The last time I had a massage was in 2019 so one was needed badly. we booked multiple services and all hit the spot from the facials to the massages. Some parts of the facility were not accessible due to Covid however we were able to enjoy the experience with what was open.

Facility - the space it self does need some upgrades but it seems certain areas were under renovation. Amenities - a welcoming sight especially during a pandemic Service - from the front desk to the bartender they were all friendly and very accommodating Food - lacking, but hey i aint come here to eat. Overall - i will most defiantly come back for the massages and a day of relaxation
